About Me

A very wise friend once told me that in many aspects of life, it's knowing what you don't want as much as what you do. This certainly rings true in the area of relationships. I find that relationships are like music; it takes a bit of structure, a bit of improvisation, and some practice for things to work well. My hope is that one day I will find a woman that will have hers be compatible with mine.I enjoy college sports, with preferences of Baylor and U of L. Travel is fun, and I get to do some with my job. The people I meet come from a variety of backgrounds, and I've certainly learned a lot from them. As one can see from my pics, I play trumpet and piano, and own a vintage jukebox. I'm in a dance band, which is a bit ironic because I can't dance....that really is a scary sight. My parents are both still living, and I try to get by and see them as often as I can. Family is important, faith vital and laughter a true necessity. What you get in me is a supportive man with his head on straight, who works hard, can listen (or so I'm told), likes his dogs, his home, his church, and his job. When I find the right woman is seems all the other aspects of my life fall into place and that makes me a better man. I think a good woman keeps me balanced, centered, social, focused, motivated, challenged and stable. She is a supportive force in my life; her treating me like I am capable and a deserving guy makes me a capable and deserving guy. She helps me see the best in me. I look to mirror similar aspects to her so she can be all she wants to be. Together with this approach I believe it is the best prescription for a loving, long lasting relationship. In general the beach lifestyle, coupled with good friends make for a happy day for me.
