About Me

Hello :) I'm a single mom of an awesome 19-year-old daughter. I am a writer by profession and passion. I'm a full- As a features writer, I cover the "good news," entertainment, dining out, people and events. I've interviewed many celebrities and, in short, love my job. I've also published three fiction books, a series, geared towards pre-teens and teen-agers. My hope is to someday share those books with the world and become the next JK Rowling :) I enjoy all kinds of music and love going out to see it live. My soft spot is and always will be for hard driving, mind freeing rock! But I also like dance and country, and even some classical. I love to watch movies, but my favorite genre is Horror! If it's scary, I like it. Love old black and whites, all the way up to new films with crazy special effects. I also like comedies, but really don't enjoy mushy-gushy girlie flicks.I LOVE Halloween and it's my favorite day of the year. I have more Halloween decor than Christmas and very much get "into" the spirit of things. Speaking of spirits, I'm also a member of a paranormal investigation team.     Hi There, I am a sensitive, caring, creative, and sometimes funny gal. I am not a 'girly girl' who takes hours to get ready to go out, although I I do know how to dress up and look nice when the occasion requires.     Life has a way of moving on and sometimes we get caught in its wheel, while other times, we are the one pushing it onward. I've experienced both & am sure a balance between these two us where I am. I won't sit and watch life go by, but definitely relish special, quiet moments.
