About Me

I am one of the good ones who has flown under the radar most of my life. I am private and loyal, so the people in my life are decidedly special to me. Once I accept you in, you are in for life unless you do something that shows me you want out. I hate to give up, especially on people. I believe we all have something that makes us special and beautiful to the right people, the trick is finding them! Some are better at it than others, and I'm here on meetville because I'm not an attention getter or huge extrovert, but I know I have a lot of offer and really want to meet a great guy who lives not too far away. I like to take it slow, and I want to understand people's motives before I let them in. (think of me like a cute squirrel that you are trying to train to take food from your hand. but once i'm feeling safe in your hand, you'll have my heart 3)I love PA and have a happy life here but I'm missing having someone special to share my time with. I would date outside of my town and would move for the right person. I work with people with disabilities and for the SPCA. I am also a part time photographer and even though my schedule is busy, I always make time for a fun activity or two. My life is peaceful, I love the mountains and have spent a lot of time hiking on the island.I am very honest, loyal, responsible and trustworthy. I love to talk with people who know a little about the world and have wisdom to share and to to learn about the world and beyond. As for why you'd like to meet me, I have a big heart, have my %*#$ together and appreciate the simple things in life the most, like a heartfelt hug and a good conversation with a coffee on the side :) And though I feel like I've had a lot of luck in my life (I prefer to think its good Karma from doing what's good and right!) I have gotten to where I am with hard work and dedication to my goals.My "type" of man is intelligent but goofy, tall and healthy and young at heart without the party lifestyle :) take a hot air balloon ride at sunset to a great outdoor concert where there are only front row seats. But a close second would be a nice chat and a nature walk followed by my favorite coffee at steam punk cafe :)

    I am an island girl who loves to spend time at the ocean, but also loves to venture off to the mountains. I guess I just love being in and surrounded by nature. I just discovered a new amazing place that is like the tropics yet you're still in BC...Savary Island. Have you been there yet? Swimming in the warm ocean waters...I was in heaven. We truly live in a beautiful place.I love going on adventures, and I go on as many as possible. But...I also enjoy spending time at home....making dinner, cozy'ing up...relaxing. My home is very important to me. Balance in life is key.Other things that I like to spend my time and energy on is nutrition, my friendships, photography, yoga (this had actually slipped out of my life...but I've just started to embrace it again), hiking, mountain biking, snowboarding (I have been dabbling in split-boarding the last couple winters), cooking...If I had an outdoor space I would love to have a lil' garden to grow my own veggies.
