About me.... I wish I could travel more, but you know, sometimes the job and finances preclude that! That being said, although I'd love to go back to Europe and see more of it, I'd really like to see some more of this great country and our National Parks. Family is very important to me and I would hope to you as well. My parents have been married for 53 yrs, had their differences but have always solved them. There are also a lot of cousins( big reunion in the works for ***. I have 1 son, (age10). I realise alot of people my age are just getting used to the idea of their kids leaving home soon, I chose to be a single parent,so know that if we were to be involved, my son will be part of the package.Things I enjoy: too many to mention, but here are a few.....Skiing, sailing, bowling, reading,movies(mostly action or drama)a good glass of wine, travel, my son and the things he comes up with, riding a motorcycle, a dry sense of humor.I also enjoy going to church and would probably be more involved there, but it is farther from my home that I'd like, and since I work 12 hrs shifts, harder to get involved. I wish I had the patience to learn to quilt before my grandmother dies, but probably won't.( she lives in MT and is ***I also volunteer weekly at the local animal shelter. In the past, I volunteered for the volunteer fire department( and yes I drove the trucks and fought fires!) and volunteered as an EMT-I for a local ***service as well. Sometimes I miss those days....What am I looking for in a man?You need to be comfortable with who you are. A college education would be nice,but may not matter, depending on your maturity and other aspects of your personality and experiences.Life can teach us so much more sometimes. I would hope family is important as well. While I don't mind if you like sports, hopefully , it isn't the only interest you have, because I'm really not into watching it every time it's on. I have gone to a Rockets game, a couple Astros games and to an Aeros game a couple times, probably not football though( I know sacreligous, right?)Wait until my son gets older, he'll probably like football and want to play and then I'll have to go! So far, he hasn't shown any interest in sports where he might get hit( he quit tae kwon do after the sparring stated!) Hopefully , you like various kinds of music.( I'll be honest, I do like country and most of the time I listen to contemporary Christian music, but I do like oldies , jazz and rock.)Hopefully, you enjoy travel, maybe even snow skiing( I took my son the last 2 yrs but didn't get to go this year).Overall,if we have enough of the important things in common, we'll get along. After all, it would be pretty boring if we were carbon copies of each other, right? Hmmm... depends on our interests. I once had a 1st date where we went for a short hike in the woods and then grilled out. Probably one of the best dates I'd had. Usually, its easiest to just meet for lunch or drinks of some kind( I don't drink tea or coffee, but soda is ok too)Actually, breakfast works well, sometimes..

I work hard and play hard. Certified Scuba diver, although I haven't been able to enjoy a follow up dive. I'm a blue belt in TaeKwonDo and would love to go forward and obtain my black belt. I enjoy a fun game of tennis and of course going out and having a good time listening to music and dancing the night away while hanging out with friends. I like to stay active and enjoy most all activities. However, a quiet night at home snuggling on the sofa with a good movie makes for a great evening as well.I am a NO DRAMA kinda girl. I don't initiate it and I don't deal with it. I'm very easy going. And feel that a good line of communication is very important. I don't want to guess what's going on in your head and I won't make you guess or assume what I'm thinking either. I coach t- I'm a former member of Kiwanis and K-kids. I recently finished the Paralegal Program at KSU (with a 3.4 GPA, I might add) I have had to pick up and start over and I'm proud to say, I don't give up and I give 110%.
