Hi There! About me... I love being outdoors, any excuse to get together with family and friends, walking, hiking, water, mountains, trees, reading, writing, porches you can sit out all year, gardening, coffee, microbrews, fall, architecture, remodel, anything artsy fartsy, travel, science, history, music of all kinds, football, hockey, veggies, chips and salsa… and the sound of squeaky screen doors….. doesn’t really take much to make me smile. I’ve lived a few places... 17 years later made my way back. I’ve done a variety of things from working in government, teaching, PD, building inspections, landscaping, loading trucks, to designing and building a house. I had two jobs I absolutely loved. You could also say I am a contradiction. I love to play in the mud but then I’m still a girl. I wont kill spiders because they kill the bad bugs.. but when one catches me off guard or I walk thru a web… yes I do the girlie eeky squeaky dance. A person I would be interested in spending time with…. Someone not afraid to act a little silly at times… be willing on occasion to make a fool of themselves just because why not? Who will dance with me no matter how good or bad they dance just because either way we will have fun. Someone who knows its about the journey.. that life is now…there is no waiting to be happy Someone who likes to be outside, go for walks, likes to talk, can agree to disagree, who can smile at me when I look like a flamingo trying to figure out which shoe looks better, who finds amusement in times I cant decide or suddenly am in a situation I become shy. And I want to be able to laugh at the odd ways that are just him, give him a smile when he is worried about nothing important. Someone that gets me biting my lower lip and grinning just at the thought of him. Id be interested in someone who already likes himself and his life and that for him finding that person he clicks and can always honestly be himself with is just value added. Anyway… that would be good. Thanks :) **grew up Catholic.. would say spiritual not religious **The intent Choices are ridiculous - not looking for anything serious to wants a relationship... I put wants a relationship in that I think if it ends up friends or more aren't those both technically relationships? yikes :/ Some people you feel a connection/chemistry with and others you don’t.. its just there or not. I don’t think there is a perfect date that can be created or planned, it doesn’t have to involve elaborate plans or cost a lot – a great date just is. I think usually it is when you can be yourself and are comfortable, can laugh, have fun no matter what’s going on. Whether I make a new friend or am lucky enough to feel that chemistry all is good.Update: I think it is odd to meet someone online and go on a "date." (I like you and want a kiss goodnight thing) I would say first time we meet face to face it is to say hello see how that goes. ( I pay my own way - this is not up for debate) Maybe we go on a date after that.. maybe we hang out a few more times to get to know each other before an official date happens. I dunno.. I just think its ok to take time to get to know someone as a friend first and not have the "date" word hanging over our heads lol.

Had plans twice to go only to have them canceled...only thing I won't do is bungee jumping, something about a rubber band around my ankles as I dive head first to the ground... (Shivers) not my cup of tea!I'm told I act and look younger then I am, I think age is just a number! I believe in friendships first and foremost, I don't think you can start a great relationship without being friends first! I love the outdoors,especially in a boat on water! I like sports, I bleed orange! Hook ' Em!) I have 3 great kids which I have custody of, they are very important to me, so you have to at least like kids if you don't have any of your own.     I've been off this site for awhile but thought I would try it again...yes I am a masochist! lol I keep thinking to myself that "you get what you pay for"...my first big red flag is...should I really be on a dating site that has to ask if you have a car??? I have some better questions they should include based on what I have met..."How much longer are you on probation?" or "Does your wife know you are dating and playing yourself off as single?" But as long as you have a car...My favorite thing about this site is the array of "virtual" gifts. REALLY?? My all time favorite is the steak dinner..."here honey...have a virtual steak dinner on me...". "oh thank you...but I just ate and could not eat another bite"!! Please don't send me a virtual puppy...I have no time for housebreaking!Anyway...I do have a car, so I must be a hot commodity. I am a 43 year old mom of a very strong willed 10 year old. He has an old soul and the sense of humor of an adult...but he knows where ALL of my buttons are and insists on pressing them often! I have a very sarcastic sense of humor and no filter. If something runs across my head it comes out my mouth. So if you are thin skinned...I might not be for you! It can be a hazard but think of it this way...you never have to wonder what I am thinking or how I feel about something! ;-)I'm honest to a fault. I believe there is no worse deception or disrepect than cheating on someone you supposedly care about. I never cheat...If I am done, the person I am dating will be the first person to know. I will be honest and admit that I am not "good" at relationships. They tend to last about 3 weeks, occasionally 3 months and VERY rarely three years! I just realize pretty quick whether it is something that is going to work or not and I don't waste a lot of time hanging around to try and change someone into who I want them to be. I am not a jealous "stalker" type and I will not date one either. I am looking for someone with a great sense of humor.
