Woman. 43 years old. Zodiac sign: Libra.
Looking for: man. In age: 40-50
Update: If you are a "player or "serial dater"...I'm not the girl for you. Being " easy on the eyes" doesn't give you the right to treat people like they are insignificant & meaningless...just so you know. Now that we got that out of the way...This is me (in a nutshell):*I am honest, trust-worthy and extremely loyal.*I'm funny, occasionally witty, a little quirky, girlishly silly at times & I love to laugh! Someone just recently told me that "they can hear the little girl in my voice" which, to me, means I haven't been poisoned by the world. (bonus)*I can find the humor in almost any situation. Life is too short to dwell in negativity.*Im positive & a good thinker...good at rationalizing & can see the beauty in almost anything.*Im passionate & loving. Im the girl that gets lost in your eyes & memorizes the curves of your face.*Im genuine, sweet & sensitive. Borderline sappy...I can be caught with a tear in my eye over a t.v. commercial.*I am a girly-girl. I love products & make-up, pretty dresses & high heels but will just as easily throw on a baseball hat & just be me...perfectly imperfect.*I love my alone time. Im not afraid of myself or my thoughts. I like myself...Im good company.*Im spiritual & creative, love yoga & meditation. The world's energy & the laws of attraction are intriguing.*I am open, understanding & easy to talk to. Communication on every level is so important.*I love to people-watch. To me, people are facinating...their looks, their mannerisms...its all good.*I like to read but LOVE to be read to. Nothing like swinging in a hammock on a warm summer day whilst your love reads to you. (love the word 'whilst'...isn't used nearly enough)*I love the beach. Picture this: It's 5:00, the crowds are gone, the sun is sinking, the wind kicks up, a slight chill from the days sunburn, smelling like coconuts, our hair salty & tossled...sitting together with your arms around me, just us & the ocean, breathing together...no need for words. Heaven. *I love motorcycles. The wind in your hair, the smell of the air...Ahhhhh....freedom.*I like to cook, Im not the greatest but I get better every day. I eat really well though...Yum, food is good! What am I looking for?? *Someone to share my life with.*A guy that is sweet, sensitive & isn't afraid of his feelings.* I want the guy who puts his arms around me while I do the dishes or steals a kiss at the grocery store.*A guy who is strong, secure & a good provider but isn't afraid of a strong woman.*A guy who's fun, has a good sense of humor & likes to socialize but can't wait to go home with me.*I want the guy who lays in bed with me on Sunday's reading the newspaper & isn't wishing he were anywhere else.*A guy who knows when to put me in my place but also knows when to shut-up, listen & hug me when I need it.*A true partner...someone to grow with...someone that helps me to find that perfect balance between passion, drive & serenity. Someone that doesn't feel the need to fill every second with words..."for some moments in life, there are no words" (quote from my favorite movie)*Im not looking for perfection as I don't think "perfect" exists...Im looking for an amazingly imperfect guy that I find perfect! If you are out there...please find me...but PLEASE be honest & emotionally available!!The InvitationBy Oriah Mountain DreamerIt doesn’t matter to me what you do for a living – I want to know what you ache for, and if you dare to dream of meeting your heart’s longing. It doesn’t interest me how old you are –I want to know if you risk looking like a fool for love for your dreams, for the adventure of being aliveIt doesn’t interest me what planets are squaring your moon –I want to know if you have touched the center of your own sorrow if you have been opened by life’s betrayals, or have become shriveled or closed from fear of further painI want to know if you can sit with pain, mine or your own without having to hide it or fade it, or fix itI want to know if you can be with joy, mine or your own if you can dance with wildness, and let the ecstasy fill you to the tips of your fingers and toes, without cautioning us to be careful to be realistic or to remember the limitations of being humanIt doesn’t interest me if the story you are telling me is true-I want to know if you can *disappoint* another to be true to yourselfif you can bear * the accusation* of betrayal and not betray your own soulif you can be * faithful* and therefore trustworthyI want to know if you can see beauty, even when it’s not pretty every dayand if you can source from your own life Beauty’s presenceI want to know if you can live with failure, yours & mine and still stand on the edge of the lake and shout to the silver of the full moon, “YES”!It doesn’t interest me who you know or how you came to be here - I want to know if you will stand in the center of the fire with me and not shrink backIt doesn’t interest me where, or what, or with whom you have studied – I want to know what sustains you from the inside when all else falls awayif you can be alone with yourself, andif you truly like the company you keep in the empty moments.

I want a relationship with a man that doesn't involve living together or remarrying and combining finances at all. I'm a very independent, honest, hard working woman. I'm looking for a man that takes care of his self. Not sure I can find what I want here but I'm genuine and I'd like to find a man that's down to earth and real. My job keeps me very grounded and thankful for what I have because I work with kids that cannot walk, are non-verbal, blind etc. There's a lot more to me than looks, that is if you like my looks :). Meet and see if there's a connection.

I've been off this site for awhile but thought I would try it again...yes I am a masochist! lol I keep thinking to myself that "you get what you pay for"...my first big red flag is...should I really be on a dating site that has to ask if you have a car??? I have some better questions they should include based on what I have met..."How much longer are you on probation?" or "Does your wife know you are dating and playing yourself off as single?" But as long as you have a car...My favorite thing about this site is the array of "virtual" gifts. REALLY?? My all time favorite is the steak dinner..."here honey...have a virtual steak dinner on me...". "oh thank you...but I just ate and could not eat another bite"!! Please don't send me a virtual puppy...I have no time for housebreaking!Anyway...I do have a car, so I must be a hot commodity. I am a 43 year old mom of a very strong willed 10 year old. He has an old soul and the sense of humor of an adult...but he knows where ALL of my buttons are and insists on pressing them often! I have a very sarcastic sense of humor and no filter. If something runs across my head it comes out my mouth. So if you are thin skinned...I might not be for you! It can be a hazard but think of it this way...you never have to wonder what I am thinking or how I feel about something! ;-)I'm honest to a fault. I believe there is no worse deception or disrepect than cheating on someone you supposedly care about. I never cheat...If I am done, the person I am dating will be the first person to know. I will be honest and admit that I am not "good" at relationships. They tend to last about 3 weeks, occasionally 3 months and VERY rarely three years! I just realize pretty quick whether it is something that is going to work or not and I don't waste a lot of time hanging around to try and change someone into who I want them to be. I am not a jealous "stalker" type and I will not date one either. I am looking for someone with a great sense of humor. I would like someone that can see the humor and irony in everyday life events and laugh till your belly hurts about them! I want someone who is independent, stable and honest. I like a casual first date. Meet for drinks or coffee. If the date is going great then there is the option of staying longer or finding something else to do. If it is not, it is easy enough to get out after an hour or so! I hate dinner and a movie as a first date. Too cliche'...
