Dinner is a nice option but I'm allergic to a lot of different foods so discussion of where/what would need to take place. I'd prefer a first date on a weekend because my work schedule is unpredictable and I would hate to cancel and appear uninterested when really I have an unexpected deadline. Something to look forward too is always a great way to get through a work day and or week.
