Hello out there! I am a single, professional woman with a great life looking for someone special with whom to share it. I have a wide variety of interests. I enjoy the outdoors fishing, camping and hiking. Have done some bird hunting and started bow hunting last year (although mostly unsuccessful). I enjoy traveling to experience new cultures, exploring out of the way places, finding interesting food, sampling wine, and tasting craft beer. Although I have my own hobbies, I am always interested in exploring new things and enjoy both the physical and intellectual stimulation that comes with new activities. I would welcome a partner who has varied and different interests.I was a competitive gymnast through college and enjoy staying fit with various types of exercise. My interests and lifestyle both encourage and require a healthy and active body. I am looking for a partner who also values physical fitness….both to explore those activities that require strength and endurance as well as participating in exercise together. My actual age is 46 although most who meet me initially believe me to be in my late 30’s due to my personality and activities. I have found that my interests, fitness and activities make me more compatible with a younger age bracket. Unfortunately, it appears that most men on this site search for a partner who is younger than themself regardless of activity/interests. This makes it difficult for me to connect with a possible good match. So I have changed my “match” age to fit into a better partner bracket for me. So if you insist that your woman be younger….not just act and look younger….I am not the match for you.Summer is around the corner. I have many activities planned for those wonderful, warm months.…..it would be nice to have someone with whom to share them. You take pride in your appearance, have a little fashion sense and look amazing with a bit of scruff on your face. A great smile melts my heart but a rugged edge gets my attention. You must have an appreciation for a woman who loves being a girly girl but isn't high maintenance, a woman who is comfy in a dress and heels and jeans and t-shirt. =) I am terrible at this sort of thing, talking about myself that is. I can be quiet chatty however if the chemistry is right and will open up when lured by an interesting topic. I have had an amazing life, for which I am grateful but it seems each day things are changing my life is again on the move, finding direction and loving the journey. I have learned that everyday should teach me, enlighten me and leave me feeling like I mattered. I believe in caring for others and for self, I expect people to be genuine and kind-hearted....life is much more fulfilling when we remember to treat people fairly, harming no one and lifting those we can. I love to laugh, enjoy movies and will watch TV but loose interest rather quickly. I am happy spending the day exploring on my own but much prefer to share my time with someone who "gets" me. I am a passionate person and have a flair for great emotion....I "feel" my life and want you to do the same. The one line that sums up my approach comes from my all time favorite movie, Shawshank Redemption...."You can either get busy living, or you can get busy dying"...I choose living. I am fairly easy going and believe a first date should be one that allows the conversation to flow. Anything where you are able to spend time getting know one another....it can be lunch/dinner or drinks......and afternoon at a waterside restaurant. Not somewhere that is crazy loud or with a lot of interruptions....I want to be able to talk, laugh and flirt a bit even. =)
