I'm a person who likes to talk, but enjoy the sound of silence just as much. I think that intellect is an important factor and a kind of connection between like minded people is important. I could not be with a person where my core beliefs and how I do things is wrong in the other persons opinion. I enjoy hanging out with folks. I love spending time with people, but sometimes I don't get too close to people. Opening up is scary, but well worth it. I have a fair amount of friends and all of them are close to me. If that poses a challenge to your manhood that I have close relationships with my guy friends, then you should keep looking. I will not give them up for someone. They have seen me through troubled times and have been there for it and seen me through that pain. But I wanted to bring it up before it becomes a problem. I have had a serious addiction in my past that I have overcome. As a result of the addiction I became something I never wanted to be and will not compromise in certain situations. I will not allow a compromise when God makes himself clear on circumstances. I will not have sex before marriage, smoke or drink.That being said, God is very important to me. I could not date or marry someone who does not have a personal relationship with God. Attending church is important to me, however, I work one weekend a month. I have most weekends off to go, so that is a priority to me. I am certain that everyone has had that one relationship that just was awful and it didn't work out and as a result have been hurt. Everyone has. I am very understanding of that, but I will not allow that person to control my future relationships. I will not make someone else pay for what that person did to me and made me insecure about, and I would like the same in return. I am looking for long term potential marriage sort of relationship. I like to spend time with people and get to know them before starting a relationship. Friends first is essential.     Well, if your interested in what my interests, hobbies and just who i am and what i do then send me a message so we can talk about it. I personally feel you can't really know someone by just reading a few common words to describe them, you have to talk and get to know someone. It can be a long process, but in the end it can be very worth it. What i can and will tell you is that: 1) i love my family and love my friends like family.
