Note: Read to the bottom of this personal description, please.Hi and Great Day to anyone who has decided to read my meetville profile. I am a 34 year old college graduate with an Associates in Music Performance and a Bachelors Degree in Communications and Photography. I am a single, never been married, bachelorette looking for a great guy for a casual and possibly long term relationship. I am friendly and normally sport a huge smile and pleasant personality. I am not into game playing or bush beating and prefer guys who feel the same way. No time for "whys, lies or alibis". Taking things easy and getting to know someone in a relaxed and non threatening manner is my best plan. I like romance which includes late night dinners, walks on the beach, flowers, handholding at a baseball game, an occasional game of tennis, nature hikes, a day at the track, day long photography gigs, and taking in a play, symphony, or ballet performance once in a while. Music has long been in my blood and I play as well as teach woodwind *** hobby besides the other things I have mentioned is Photography. I love shooting and expressing myself with abstracts, macro close up photography as well as HDR landscapes and portraits. I make it my project to make everyone I shoot look great. I also teach photography, photoshop and work with graphic arts and photo reconstruction. I enjoy Ice Skating & skiing if someone's close to catch me when I fall. Nothing's quite as fun as steamy workouts at the gym with a handsome spotter. My ideal fellow appreciates my opinions & can listen as well as share his thoughts. He's respectful & is generous with his time. He knows how to help me relax and enjoys making me laugh. He is comfortable in the kitchen and doesn't mind trying new unusual dishes. He should like my pets - a few cute puppies - and tolerate my crazy family. He is absolutely confident and secure in his career and with his lifestyle. My ideal guy values education and above all, a meaningful and a purpose filled life. My guy enjoys star gazing and has beautiful sexy eyes that I can get lost in, myself. He is strong but sensitive; open, caring, gracious and realistic. My knight *** how ladies appreciate being treated and does his best to show this great quality. And guys, please put your shirts back on, even if you do look good because FOR ME, I am much more intrigued by intelligent expressions, soulful eyes and great welcoming smiles. If you're turned on by body art or unique piercings, I might not be your match, as I have an honest respect for my body. I am not a walking canvas or pin cushion. I prefer my art framed and hanging on the wall. And one other thought, if you don't want to insult the ladies... it would be a good idea not to address them with "Hey Baby". And here is another deal breaker... responders who have posted any picture proudly shooting the bird. Please, don't even expect a reply. Finally, above all else, I want to find a guy who is honest. One who I can't wait to see for our next date; a guy who can make me smile just by hearing his voice on the phone, and who loves to sit close and hold hands. It is a time to be relaxed. To be open. A time to talk, ask questions, answer questions, and to reveal ones personality. So, a dinner would be nice. I have spent a total of 0 minutes in a bar or club (honestly), so that would not be of interest to me on a first date or any there after. Drinking has its place, but it is not my lifestyle so I feel obligated to share that up front. I am at a place in my life where I want the best that life can provide and if that is where you are, we should have something real in common. Just one thing I feel obligated to say. If you are married or already in another relationship and just want to test the waters, don't waste my time with you.     I am a social person who does her best to have a positive outlook on life! I was born and raised in the north so I have a huge appreciation of the outdoors. When I go home to visit my family I enjoy fishing or at least going out on the lake, swimming, going to camp - AKA the cottage - down here, going for walks, etc. I love my family, but since they live so far away from me, my friends are my surrogate family. I enjoy cooking and baking. I am not afraid to try a new recipe, but for the most part I will throw together ingredients that I have on hand, and am proud to say, most of the time my food tastes pretty good!I enjoy reading and writing which is very helpful seeing as I am still a student working SLOWLY on my MSW. I have a job that I am fortunate to enjoy, in the helping profession. I am passionate about the job I do and for the population with whom I work. Of course there are days that I wish I could have stayed in bed longer than I already had...I am the worse morning person!;)At the end of a difficult week, I absolutely love to go out dancing with my friends!! When I am listening to great music and dancing, all the stress of the work week is gone. I love reggae, hip hop, top 40, old 80s and 90s, some R&B....anything that has a beat that I can dance to.I love to travel...I get almost 6 weeks of vacation per year, so I enjoy my trips up north ( that should count as vacation right?), spring vacay's to the Caribbean, and any other trip that I can manage to go on! There is an entire world outside of this city, to see and enjoy. I try to be well-balanced in all areas of my life. I tend to be a pretty funny person. I love laughing and making others laugh, when appropriate of course. I can also laugh at myself...life is too short to be serious all of the time.I am of the opinion that everything happens for a reason, otherwise it would not happen right? Life should be lived well and enjoyed; learning something new every day...we should count our blessings, as we are all blessed in various ways. I appreciate the same qualities in others. There is a lot of the city I still have not seen and would love to explore. On a first date we could go somewhere different for a coffee or a drink. I think if there is mutual interest in getting to know each other further, we will know fairly quickly and can arrange to see each other again if we choose. Movies do not allow for talking so not good...and if you go for dinner... well if the mutual interest is not really happening...things may get a bit awkward. I am sure you would agree with me there:)

    Looking to meet some new friends and possibly something more. Since I live close to my school, I enjoy traveling. It lets me get out of town and really relax without worrying about running to to students and parents. This might be a day trip or get away for the weekend. My family lives out of state so I travel to see them when I get the chance. Weekends vary from camping, festivals, the dog park and spending time with friends at brunch or happy hour. During the week, most of time outside work is spent at home or taking a dance or yoga class.
