If at first, you don't succeed, try, try again....and again....and again :)I know too many people that this worked for, so here I go again!!A NYC Fireman, that's what my Dad was, he’s retired now....If you've ever met a NYC fireman, then you know exactly what I'm looking for…Someone down to earth~Someone to make me laugh so hard I have to run to the bathroom because I can't hold it in~Someone that wants to run towards something with me when everyone else is running the other way~Someone to help me to be a better person~Someone to help me through my fears~Someone brave and strong willed~Someone that is passionate about their job and their life~Someone that can tell a good joke, as does every NYC fireman that I've ever met :0)My parents have been married over 40 years....a pretty high standard they have set for me, huh! I want a long marriage and I want everything that comes with it! The undying love, the challenges, the laughter, the hardships, the memories, the arguments, the making up, someone to yell at to stop snoring, someone to kiss me each night before I go to sleep, someone to respect me and the fact that I am an independent woman, someone to be proud of, I want it all.I really am a great catch...I have solid family values~ I believe in the old "do unto others" saying as well as Karma~I can go to a Jets game and tailgate at 10AM or get dressed up to go to an event for a museum opening all while fitting in perfectly~I can hold my own in most any social setting~I am passionate about my friends and family~I have been told I have a contagious laugh and believe that laughter is the best medicine.On the other hand, I am by NO MEANS perfect! I can be grouchy in the morning~I don't like shopping, at all, that could be a pro or a con though~I speak my mind and sometimes could use a bit of a filter~I put my make-up on when I drive (I know you guys hate that)~I drive too fast and sometimes cut into the line up by the front when exiting a highway~I ask questions during movies ~ All in all though, what you see is what you get... I am a down to earth, fun loving, playfully sarcastic woman, looking for a great guy to share myself with.What I want in return...all of the same morals, values, wants, needs and desires. A love for family and friends, someone confident, someone that believes without trust there is no foundation to a relationship, I'm huge on trust and all I ask is for the truth, no matter what emotion it may conjure up. I want someone to walk into a burning building for me...OK that's a bit extreme!What I don't want....Someone that just "wants to have a good time", I don't want someone that is arrogant, I don't want someone that thinks the world revolves around money; its nice and all, and trust me, I strive to make as much as I can, but its not everything! I don't want someone that is into the club scene.     I really don't believe this works but I don't get out much, I am a proud mom, I work , I cook and I am a clean person, I want someone who is relaxed and just likes to enjoy the ride serious but not too serious.
