Hi *big grin* u smiled back, didn't you?! I like you already! im an optimistic, outgoing person. I look for the positives in life and try to enjoy each day. My goal is to eventually be in a long term relationship with someone who will be my very best friend, my better half, and me, his. someone who i look forward to seeing at the end of the day. who appreciates the little things i go out of my way to do for him. Someone who enjoys doing things together...isn't it way more fun when u realize that accomplishing things together is called a project rather than a chore. In reality life isnt always good...I need someone who will hold me up when life hurts and who will count on me to do the same for him. All that said, im not in a hurry to make that happen right away because when its right i will know it. I would rather find some great friends and if it turns out to be more than that even better....no pressure. if not then i haven't lost anything and i don't consider it a waste of my time. Rushing things isn't my style. Like i said, when its right you just know. Im not on here for friends with benefits. ( yes, i do like sex jokes...that doesnt mean im easy, it means i can relate.) I have self respect and values that are important to me. When the right guy comes along i would think he would appreciate this since im saving it for him! (ohhhhhh...he will appreciate it! **)A good sense of humor is a must! I love to laugh and sometimes have a bit of sarcasm to my humor but its never meant to be negative. i like people with quick wit, sometimes silly, and who are comfortable enough with themselves to be who they are. honesty is very important to me, as well as compassion for others and openmindedness. :-) ....just to let u know, what i wrote about myself is the real deal. I can "walk the walk" to back up my talk. Yup! Can you? ;-) First of all lets not call it a date, that puts so much pressure on the whole thing... i think the best way to really get to know someone is to be yourself. A guy who will wear what he would normally wear, and be cool with me doing the same. Lets go do something that gives us the opportunity to talk, laugh, get to know eachother. Some basic things about me:When I'm not at work, I'm often found on my PC, or relaxing somewhere with a book in my face.Of course I do other things - I might take walk in the park, catch a movie *** the theatre, watch something on the TV, pop over to the local pub for food and such... you know - normal stuff...Still don't exactly know what I wanna be when I grow up; happy, some place where I matter, comfortable & content...I'm pretty easy going. I'm usually able to see all points of view in a debate/conversation.I like nature - when I go camping I prefer in a tent. I like sleeping in on weekends - I love lazy Saturday. I am not a morning person...I like most music - Alternative, Rock, & Metal are good. I like classical, folk, & ambient too. Not a big fan of most rap or country tho.Still here? Ok - a few things that might hit home:I don't care much for shopping. No, I don't have 50 pairs of shoes... please don't make me try everything on at the store...I'm not a sports fan by any stretch of the imagination. Sorry guys that are big into their teams. I might have heard which team won the big game on the radio as I drove to work but, I really don't know anything about your bracket, & I can't even pretend to be interested, well not for any long length of time anyway. I could be happy for you when you won or sympathetic if you didn't.. but I digress...I'm not against kids. I enjoy my friends kids (most of the time). It's great if you have a kid(s). It's awesome if you are a devoted dad. But I am not interested in having children anymore. I think I'm past that at this point in my life. I'd rather hang with close friends in the privacy of someone's home than at the bar where I'll smile & nod, pretending I heard whatever it was you just said for the 4th time (my friend reading this argued we could text, ha!) Besides, it's cheaper to buy it from the store, and I don't care so much about people watching (my friends are weird enough). Something where we can be comfortable to chat for a while: nothing too loud or crazylunch/dinner/coffeeWeather pending - a nice stroll through the park, or drinks on the patio
