I love my job, my yorkiepoo, kids, and sports-participating/coaching/watching! I also like to do landscaping and painting...owning a home is a lot of work and so I try to make it fun! :)I earned my Bachelors degree from GVSU in ***, and just recently earned my Masters for educational leadership...Right now I am a middle school math teacher and varsity softball coach. My faith is very important to me! I attend church regularly and enjoy it. I am definitely looking for someone who has a desire to increase their faith as well.I absolutely love staying as active as possible; although I do enjoy a good movie or a show on HGTV to get some new DIY ideas :). Some adventures On my "Bucket List" - Taking a hot air balloon ride!......Going to the olympic games!...and experience as many of the 7 wonders of the world as possible!!! Anything spontaneous!

I am one of the last of my friends to be single and although I have no problem going out on my own, some people seem to find that daunting and it doesn’t guarantee finding people to hang out with or even to have a decent conversation with. I am also a teacher, so I don’t tend to meet many people professionally and am often bogged down with grading, planning and coaching.I am passionate and whimsical, rational and romantic, intelligent and introspective, silly and sardonic. I love being outdoors (when it isn’t freezing out), rocking out to my favorite music, and writing. I am a bibliophile and have a love affair with words, so if your vocabulary is limited to “yo, your hot” and/or you think proof reading is for nerds, please stop reading now and move along to the next kissy-face picture you come to.I have met a few people online before and have realized that it is ridiculous to hang hope on someone you have a few exchanges with in terms of dating, but people do and there’s an underlying pressure to “like or not to like”, yet everyone I’ve ever dated has been a friend first. Therefore, while I am hoping to encounter someone special, it is more important to meet someone cool to spend time with and take it from there. Ultimately, I want to know and be known. To recognize something in another person that inspires me to be better, while accepting me as I am. I am not sure what it is I’m seeking, but I recognize when it’s missing. Give me a man who speaks fluent sarcasm, who can weave dreams into realities, who can follow my obscure literary and film references, who will call me on my bullsh*t and who will let me know him as I let him know me and I will be fulfilled. Can you tell over coffee or a beer whether there’s enough character in the character beside you to make you want to delve a bit deeper? If so, drop me a line.Ps ... I'm on a bit of a health kick, working on changing foods and such which is leading me to want to be more healthy all around - so if you are only silent due to the smoking thing, don't miss out... I may be done soon! I appreciate a phone call first and let's see if we click... but it isn't a good idea to wait so long the spark sputters out, so rather than draw out texting/chatting, wouldn't it be fun to do something early on so it is less like an interview and more like a new experience?
