I'll try anything once, sometimes twice (the first time could be a fluke right?) even this online thing. I value verbal dexterity. If there is anything internet dating is good for, it is finding out whether you can even converse with a person before you meet them in person and fall in lust with the way they look. Due to my upbringing on a farm, I do place a pretty high importance on mechanical aptitude. I am healthy and active and request the same or at least a willingness to be. I simply can't trust someone who doesn't take care of themselves. If you don't care about yourself - how can you care about another person and how can you expect others to care for you?My friends and family are vitally important and I've finally learned to at least listen to their advice, if not heed it. Anyone I persue a relationship with must be willing and able to integrate into our lives and join in the fun. I don't have a lot of "free" time, but I try to always have a good time. I believe in living a simple life, eating well, enjoying the small things, spending quality time with my loved ones, exploring, exercising my mind and my body, building community, and being present. I love to laugh, even if it is at myself, and I appreciate making others laugh too.I'm content with my life but it would be good to find somebody to share it with. I don't need a FWB or somebody who just wants to date casually. No offense, but it isn't worth it to me to waste my time and affection on somebody that won't return it. A funky cool coffee shop in a walkable neighborhood where we can people-watch and take our drinks for a walkabout while we get to know each other.
