I am a person of many interests and would love to have more hobbies than I currently do, but there's this thing called responsibilities that tie up a lot of my free time. Other than work and my family I try to spend my extra time reading, cooking, going to the beach and spending time with friends. Cooking is definitely a strength of mine. Where I am from food is the center of any celebration. It brings me such joy to create a meal and watch my guests enjoy every bite. I love a late night bonfire with friends, skeet shooting, shopping (as most women do), sledding, fishing, along with many many other things. I am very independent and outgoing. I wake up every day and strive to make it better than the day before in some way. Bringing joy to others is the best feeling in the world. Although I am very independent, I am a people pleaser. (Like my mom)One day I would love to have the ability to spend more time traveling. I enjoy the islands and would love to spend time traveling the world. One of my favorite things in life is meeting all the different cultures of people and experiencing their way of life, different types of food and music. Having someone to share life's joys and experiences with is very important to me.I am currently employed in the A&E field. I love watching an idea and being able to be involved in the process of design all the way to construction management. Seeing the finished product gives such a sense of satisfaction. I get excited watching and being involved in the redevelopment of a broken downtown area and watching it thrive once again as it did in the 50's, turning an entire abandoned and forgotten area into the new hip arts district, vacation area, shopping, etc. I find it difficult at times living here because all of my family and friends live in the Southern parts of the US. I am a family person, so living so far away from them is very hard. I ended up on plenty of fish based on referrals from friends and family. I do not have a problem attracting men, but I am tired of attracting the "wrong" men. I am at the age that I am becoming a bit nervous of a future alone and not having my soul mate to share it with. So, I am here giving meetville a chance and I have my fingers crossed. Wish me luck!!

I'm a big believer in personal responsibility. My dream is to restore old houses. Right now I settle for refinishing furniture. I'm easy to please and easily entertained. I enjoy listening to music. There is a song for every mood/feeling and it is amazing how hearing a song can take you back to a particular time. I have an irrational fear of being attacked by a mountain lion. Pepperoni, mushroom and artichoke pizza is quite possibly heaven in a box. Muscato d'asti is the best thing since sliced bread, flip-flops should be worn all year long, food just tastes better if eaten outside and Fridays should be mandatory holidays!I love hearing from people but please, Please if you are going to write me say more than "hey" or "hey. How are you?" That makes it very hard to start a conversation! Also, a conversation involves the mutual exchange of information. Which requires BOTH parties to ask questions! Please don't tell me to "just ask". If I had wanted to be an interrogator I would have joined the *** change anyone? :)I would love to meet someone and take this profile down!! I think it goes without saying but obviously somewhere public. Other than that anything as long as GOOD conversation is involved.
