About Me

So I think I have stayed in my comfortable bubble long enough. This is the first time I've really been single as an adult so maybe I need to be open to new adventures and letting my life go wherever it takes me. But that is certainly easier said than done! I am a music teacher and I love my job. I like to sing and perform music. My taste in music runs from opera to Joan Jet and everything inbetween. I enjoy hanging out with friends whether that is in the backyard around a fire or at a bar letting loose. My friends and family are very important to me and are a big part of my life. I like trying new things and exploring new places even though I haven't traveled much, I am interested when I can to get away and see something new. I've been told I have a great smile and I'm very easy to talk to. I'm a good listener and I think I have a sweet caring personality. I'll strike up a conversation with anyone, but I can be sarcastic! I may start out shy but I definitely open up once I get to know someone. I have a son who is wonderful and a?very important part of my life and always comes first.I guess what I'm looking for is someone that makes me want to keep coming back for more. Someone who makes me laugh and can take a joke. They should have different interests than I have but be able to appreciate and want to know about my interests too. I value my family and friends in my life and would hope that to be important to you also. If there is anything I missed that you are interested in knowing feel free to message me.     Hi! Thanks for reading my profile. I've been living in NYC for about 10 years now. It's been great! I like to consider myself somewhat adventurous, or at least willing to try new things. I like to snowboard... Most boring drive ever, but totally worth it. Wrigley Field is very cool.What else...I grew up watching football with my Dad...and I'm a still a fan. We still talk every Sunday during football season to discuss. If it wasn't for him, I wouldn't be able to pick the spreads so well in the work football pool. :) I am very close to my family. I go home every few months and see my sister about once a month. I also have many cousins around my age, which is also fun. It's nice to have people to visit in other cities.My friends would describe me as funny (sarcastic would be a better word), easy going, and caring. I typically put others before myself.     These profile things are so hard to fill out. It's worse than a job interview. I guess I'll say this: I haven't stayed in one place very long till now and I'm here for the long run.
