Full Disclosure: I have two beautiful boys, ages 3.5 and 1.5, and I'd be lying if I tried to say I'm not looking for someone who will end up loving them as much as he loves me (eventually). But you and I would have to get pretty serious for you to even meet my little dudes, so no need to freak out just yet. I realize 95% of you can't fathom fatherhood in the near, or even distant, future so my expectations have been adjusted accordingly. It's more important to find someone who fits ME and we can worry about everything else later. Another detail I should share is my divorce is not finalized yet - this takes an exceptionally long time when children are involved. And, I'm pissed meetville made me pick only one of those words to describe myself. I'm so many of those things: hedonist, hopeless romantic, crafty, foodie, traveler, the list goes on...Now that we have that part out of the way... I guess the most important thing about me, and something that I hope sets me apart from other women you might meet, is I am proud of who I am, and I'm not embarrassed to be myself. I'm comfortable in my own skin and I love to have fun and be silly. I'm confident in my beliefs and I rarely second guess my decisions once they're made. I'm a strong, independent, successful woman. I don't need a man to take care OF me, but I sure would love one who will care ABOUT me and is excited to share a life together.I'll try just about anything, as long as it doesn't endanger my bank account or my health. I guess I'm a calculated risk taker. I won't ever sky-dive. I'll try most foods at least once, but I draw the line at live animals. Dead ones are usually pretty awesome. I love going to new places, world-wide. If I bothered to make a bucket list, it would be way too long. So when the opportunity strikes, I take advantage. I'm not the kind of mom who won't travel without the kids, so romantic getaways are still in the cards, along with fun family trips.I'm a Research Biologist in big pharma and I moved here with work. I lived in the 'burbs outside Philly for 10 years before moving here, and what a difference! I love city living. My street has a sort of 50's neighborhood vibe, everyone is friendly. We put each other's trash cans away on pick-up day, and shovel the older woman's sidewalk across the street. It's a real community and I think that's missing from most people's lives now.I'm looking for someone genuine, who's not perfect but really tries his best, who's not selfish and is empathetic. It would be nice to find someone adventurous, but it's okay (probably preferable) if you don't base jump.

I'm going to be honest here, if I don't respond to your *** because I'm not interested or you really didn't take the time to put any effort into your *** the guys that just say "hi hun" or "hey" and you wonder why you don't get any responses, that's why. I refuse to drive anything less than a V6 because I feel like I will be run over or I’ll blow the motor when I’m getting on the highway. I hate mushy food and I hate the sound of someone eating mushy food (i. e. bananas). I love to laugh until my cheeks and stomach are sore. I love to people watch, people are fascinating when they think no one is paying attention or they just don’t care if you are. I can change tires. I’ve changed my own oil, brakes, and front end of a car with little to no help. I can knit a scarf and crochet almost anything. I love to watch and play sports (I’ll never say no to tickets to a game). Generally I don’t like it if someone lets me win, I want to earn it. Sailing is one of my favorite things to do; there is nothing more relaxing than the ocean. I love to dance and sing in the club like no one can hear me (I have pictures to prove it). I love to read; I usually alternate between easy reads and somewhat educational books. I love learning knew things; I have way too many questions in life. I say “going down” when I fall in public because it’s so funny and embarrassing at the same time, how could you not. I didn't get my ears pierced until I was 25 because I was too scared to disappoint my father and his belief in all natural women.My bucket list: travel to all seven continents.
