I'm going to shorten this up from the write-up I had here previously (even though it was kick ass and my best friend did a great job describing me...it was long!)Likes:- Hiking- Snowshoeing- Camping- My niece and my godson- My cat- Sewing (I'm a seamstress and do a lot of custom crafts and stuff on the side, keeps my skills honed and I enjoy it. I also make some of my clothes..crazy right?)- Tattoos (I have ***Reading- Movies-; Sons and Jason Aldean are the other 2 shows for me in ***...I also LOVE the symphony. We're so lucky to have the VSO!!)- Doctor Who, Supernatural, Firefly, Farscape: I'm a geek, nerd, whichever word we're identifying with today...and the 9th is my Doctor...- Cooking and baking- Travel- History and literature (my BA is in British colonial history with a focus on Irish civil rights history, and my minor is English literature)- Church and the way of life I'm trying to live through that community- Freaking hilarious bunch of lads.-)Dislikes:- Late people- Crowded buses- Pho - Sushi- Opening weekends at the movies (seriously...those crowds...no personal space...gah!!)- People who can't proofread even in this day and age (your, you're...there, their, they're - it kills me!!)-;so much better here" and then complain constantly about the rain, or the attitude of locals, or the cost of living. - People who can't admit that they're not always going to be politically correct or "right". We all say things now and then, or think them, we're human...get over it.There's other stuff but these are some of the big ones...What am I looking for? I’m looking for someone who is kind and compassionate and excited about life. I would love to introduce you to some of my favourite activities, and I would also like to spend some time partaking in yours! I love family and kids. My friends' children make me smile whenever I get to see them, and I try to make time to do that whenever possible. I definitely want kids of my own in the reasonable near future. I’m looking for someone who shares my religious value. That doesn’t mean you have to be a hard-core Christian, on the church board, but I’d like some interaction on that level, you know? I’m not as concerned about your looks as I am about you having a positive attitude and a good outlook on life. Listen, I know how this sounds: I have a cat. I like church. I want kids. It’s not as bad as it sounds. I’m just looking for someone who can tolerate the cat, who can engage with me faith-wise, and who wouldn’t mind one or two little ones running around someday. I never know what to say in a box like this one...how on earth are you supposed to know what to do for a first date before you even chat with someone? LOL
