About Me

Hi there!Well I decided to re-write my profile.... I think being direct and to the point is how I am normally in life so why sugar coat my write up. I have learned from being on and off this site that I don't understand the dating world now a days. I spent over the last decade in two long term relationships. I know what love is. I know how I should treat someone and how I want to be treated. I know what morals, respect, and values are and I actually live by them. When I say something, I mean it. Now that I've chosen to experience this dating world I have realized a lot of people have lost that. I was raised my amazing parents who have always been there for me. I realized after growing up what it took for them to stay together, work through the good and the bad, and still end up loving each other after 40 years of marriage. I know in my heart that if a man can provide me with the love and respect they have for each other than I will be one happy woman!I have worked hard to secure my life. I have a career, a side business, a beautiful home. I try to keep pretty active and I`m looking for someone with a similar mindset; I do crossfit 3 times a week, running 3 times a week, and I can easily be suckered into anything that has to do with water! I love the summer heat and anything to do with being outside. However winter and I are not friends lol... But come any weekend it's R&R or random adventures. I'm looking for someone that knows who they are and what they want in life. I'm very confident in myself and would want that in my partner. I know that I want a family. That is very important to me. If you are not interested in children please don't bother messaging me. And I apologize to any single dad's but I'm not looking to become involved with someone that already has children. I have already done that and I am not willing to put myself through that heart break again. If you haven't gathered already I'm not shy to speak my mind. I'm not your typical female either. I hate drama. I'm not going to lie to you. I'll tell you the truth whether or not it will hurt your feelings. And I'm not here to hook up. I'm too old for games and I have no time for them! I'm looking for someone to compliment my life, not complicate it.My best friend, who is a guy btw, has warned me that I may scare off men by being so direct.     There's so much in life to learn and to experience, which is why I'm on this site. I love to laugh, and a guy with a sense of humor is such a big turn on for me!! Some of my interests includes camping,swimming,tennis,riding bikes with my son and also playing card games with friends and that special someone over a few bevy's'. There's nothin better than great conversation over a cup of Joe or even a great tasting ceaser at a great pub..there's also a new bowling alley out here in Westshore, that would be fun too!!
