I am tired of talking about myself. That is hard to do.Online dating is like rhino hunting in NH. Really. If you have done this for any amount of time , you know exactly what I am talking about. I have met some tremendous people. Had a lovely relationship, met new friends...but I will warn you, I am picky. With good reason.I love my life and would rather stay single then to date just to date. I like my job, managing software and I love my family and social life. Things have worked out in amazing ways in the past few years. I have a big family and love to spend time with them. I also have wonderful friends. But would like to build something with someone.I have traveled, both because I was raised in a military family and because I traveled on my own. New people and new places don't intimidate me. In college, while living in Europe, my girlfriends put me in charge of the train schedule and making sure that we got to where we needed to be. I love doing things like that.I am a people person. I love understanding others and hearing their stories. I love old people. I love young people. I hate pretentious people and people who do not take charge of their lives. Ok, not hate. Hate is a strong word. Dislike. Intensely. Looking for someone older 30s or 40s. NOT interested in young guys. It is much too tedious. Someone intelligent. A man who has kids is preferred. And so it is with me... I am in charge of my Attitude. I love most music because I love to dance. I believe life is what you make it and it should be treasured, full of happiness, and even through the storms there will be a lesson learned.     Hello out there! However, I understand that I have little to no discernable accent. So sorry to those of you who like the southern twang. I love this city. Although, there have been a couple times in the winter when I have questioned my reasons for living here. Those moments usually happen while walking to the bus stop or the train when the wind chill factor is high.I guess if I knew what I was looking for I wouldn't be on here, but if I had to sum it up I would say...I am looking for a smart, attractive, and funny guy who wants to hang out and have a good time. Someone who can watch a movie on Sunday afternoon, (okay, unless it's football season)...or someone who can burn the midnight oil from time to time. I like a healthy balance. I won't lie...I believe that a mutual attraction is important...but it's not everything. However, if you can't make me laugh, then that's a dealbreaker...but don't worry, it's pretty easy.What else...my job.. I am an art director/designer for an ad agency. I sit around thinking of creative ways to sell things...and then I make pretty ads on my computer... and commercials...Hmmm... I also enjoy a good happy hour after work downtown or any low key place on the weekend. I am just as comfortable in a sketchy dive bar that only takes cash as I am at more upscale places. As long as you're with good company, you can have fun anywhere. I love trying new restaurants, going to concerts and comedy shows, art shows, improv, etc...the bus ride to work is pretty entertaining too, if only they served a good martini...
