Most men hang around me cause they find that I’m just so bloody entertaining. Communication is very important to me and I want to hear your stories/life experiences. I want a friendship that grows into a mutual support society: we each encourage and bring out the best in each other. I care deeply about the people in my life and I feel it's important to maintain current friendships and interests. Here it is:- A good heart and a kind soul- Must have empathy towards others- A gentle to wicked sense of humor- A foodie who enjoys new food and considers sushi to be divine *** just bait- Believes it is good to be a carnivore and that some of the best food comes from dives and food trailers- Will talk about at least 4 other topics for fun in addition to work, sports, and politics - Believes learning your whole life is the only way to go- Passport should probably be current- Will go off the beaten track to experience or see something cool/weird/wonderful- Must be a good kisser when the time is appropriate - Self supporting and can take care of personal financial obligations- Should know how to do home repairs or call appropriate people - Can handle being around a high energy extravert (that's me) who is liberal politically, moderate fiscally and has never voted republican (but ok with opinions different than my own).So I'm tall, blond, curvy, bright, and logical (that whole engineer thing) woman who wants a strong man I can lean on. And yes I want honest to goodness jump for joy feel to your toes romance. If this sounds interesting then we should talk. I have been divorced for a few years now and do not have kids of my own, but have had step kids who are now grown. I own my own business and its tough getting by, so I am struggling like most everyone else. I'd like to meet some real good nice people that i can trust. Just getting out and making friends should open the door to getting out more and making more friends.;mom an dem" and like to get home and visit whenever possible to see my family and lifelong friends and enjoy that good food that I grew up with, including sloppy roast beef po-boys. Seems you can't find that good french bread in these parts, but I love the seafood here and the laid back atmosphere. The people are super here and you just can't beat these beautiful beaches.I love nature and bird watching, especially the pelicans on the water....For me, even though I would like to find someone to have a relationship with, I take things one step at a time. For me that means getting to know someone casually and getting to know each other as just friends, before rushing into anything more serious. My reason for this is because I do not want to hurt anyone and I too do not want to get hurt. I have found that some men seem to want something sexual pretty early on, but for me, I would rather wait for that until I know that the relationship is a romantic one that may go somewhere, and that takes time. I am very trustworthy and like to have fun, am sensible but not boring, have a wide range of music that i like and movies. i love kids, the beach, wine, good food, dancing, etc.Most of all I am honest, and I understand how hard it is when "PO Fishing" to let someone know that you don't really want to meet them, or afterwards, don't really want to get together again. Believe me I have been in the same situation, but the WORST thing to do is to string them along and keep them wondering and waiting, and EVEN WORSE to spend time with them just because you don't want to hurt their feelings. I'm someone who needs honest friends because life is too short to spend time being misled or confused, when I can be out finding someone who really wants to be with me. I offer the same in return because I care as much about the feelings of others.Most of my friends and people I meet find that I am very humorous and fun to be with, so don't take things too seriously when first getting to know me.
