About Me

I want to start by saying that the three things that keep a long lasting relationship with me is communication, honesty and trust. I basically am an open book. WHAT YOU SEE IS WHAT YOU GET no reading in between the lines . I like to treat people the same as I would like to be treated. No games, gossip or drama here. Keep it real and simple . Relationships take time and I`m in no rush . I recently lost my sig. other to lung cancer alit over a yr. ago. He was my best friend and, it is because of him I am the person I am today. Independent ,5 yrs. sober and comfortable in my own skin. I was once lost and now I`m found .The lord is carrying me and, there is only one set of footprints in the sand . I have faith . I see the glass ***full and I`m usually optimistic . I have learned so much in life and am still doing so. I realize that I was once very attractive on the outside and so ugly on the in side ,I used my looks to get what ever I wanted and did not even blink an eye to whom I was hurting .I was cold and selfish . Today, well .... I have wrinkles, crows feet salt and pepper hair soft skin, upper denture and a parcel on the bottom "THATS RIGHT " I thought id throw that out there. "TOLD YOU THAT I WAS HONEST lololol. I have to tell you ..... its all good ! SO GENTELMEN IF YOUR LOOKIN FOR BARBIE .....I wish you well. however if your looking for a companion ,an independent , down to earth cool chick "so I been told . someone to laugh and keep you comfortable in my presence "then I may be that girl. I also have 4 tattoos "their oldies". don't mind cycles and I do go to church on Sunday "; pastor Fred is pretty cool and I am meeting a few decent people there . I have a mortgage and a full time job Ii am a bakery mgr.9 yrs. with the same company. I have 2 small dogs "their old and STINKY" lolololol gotta love um. well you get the pic. that's all for now ....thanks for listening.....until then.     Oh geez, so new at this. I came from a background of working very hard - started working at a horse stable at age 11, pitching manure to earn my first horse (at 50 cents an hour). Worked my way up to training, showing, etc horses. Love horses. Unfortunately, no longer involved but wish I were. I work in Mutual Funds now at a bank. Would love to meet someone who is casual, loving, likes the outdoors or a quiet night at home, and travel. I like anything from having a couple beers with friends around a camp fire, to enjoying a great meal on the beach in the Caribbean. I enjoy drawing (art, horses mainly of course), music - still trying to learn guitar - lol. Love obscure books, great poetry. Love to laugh, am an excellent cook. Family comes first (love my nieces & nephews to pieces). I have been moved deeply by volunteering for Habitat for Humanity, the Veterans Home, and other organizations. Gentlemen preferred. :-) Update (Feb. '***I have had a great amount of wonderful guys favorite me or want to meet me on this site. Would love to meet up, but need to take a time out for a couple months. Just found out I have cancer & need to go through treatment for a couple months. I am in a positive frame of mind & know I can kick the big C in the teeth. So fellas, give me some time off & try again in a couple months. Thank you for your interest!Apr. 27, ***doing pretty well, may have that blasted cancer licked! Just need to work up my strength & get back to normal! :-)June ***LIFE IS GOOD!! ;***Still doing fabulous! Cancer free!
