Staying Present in Everyday Life- Connecting With the Inner Body -an excerpt from Practicing the Power of Now by Eckhart TolleDIRECT YOUR ATTENTION INTO THE BODY. Feel it from within. Is it alive? Is there life in your hands, arms, legs, and feet -- in your abdomen, your chest? Can you feel the subtle energy field that pervades the entire body and gives vibrant life to every organ and every cell? Can you feel it simultaneously in all parts of the body as a single field of energy?Keep focusing on the feeling of your inner body for a few moments. Do not start to think about it. Feel it.The more attention you give it, the clearer and stronger this feeling will become. It will feel as if every cell is becoming more alive, and if you have a strong visual sense, you may get an image of your body becoming luminous. Although such an image can help you temporarily, pay more attention to the feeling than to any image that may arise. An image, no matter how beautiful or powerful, is already defined in form, so there is less scope for penetrating more deeply.***Do not think too much; just be. When you must think, it will come out of a state of rooted presence, a feeling of interconnectedness with the Universe. Use your mind, *** letting it use you. Thoughts will come and go. Do not identify with them. You are not your thoughts but the silence, the space, the awareness behind them."Being must be felt, it can't be thought."- Eckhart Tolle"We are eternal, all this pain is an illusion."- Tool"I am deeply superficial."- Andy Warhol"If you get the inside right, the outside will fall into place. Primary reality is within; secondary reality without." -Eckhart Tolle"Don't let a mad world tell you that success is anything other than a successful present moment." -Eckhart Tolle "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy. it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails" ***Cor. 13:4-8a)

People would say im cold hearted but I call it being honest. I call it like I see it. I'm not afraid to hurt someone's feelings especially if they are in the wrong. I'm down to earth. I dont really believe in love or marriage. It might be for some people but it's not for me. Right now I'm a full time student and I plan on being a lawyer. If you want to know anything else then just ask Ordering pizza and watching movies at home is the best date

The world fascinates me. I'm a biology major, so anything science I love. I also enjoy reading and spending time with close friends. I am an avid traveler. I have gone backpacking through Europe and stayed one month in Australia and I plan on traveling even more once I graduate in December! My goals? Well, I'm at that point in your college career where you actually need to sit down and figure out what you want to do with your life. And I haven't figured it all out yet. I'm extremely interested in conservation studies. That's what I'm really passionate about, so I'll probably end up pursuing a research position in that field after graduation. My ultimate goal, is just to be happy. But, everyone wants that, right? My goal for putting a profile up on meetville, is just to start talking to people. I love to go out and have fun but I also enjoy those quiet movie nights. I guess you can say I'm pretty low maintenance. Anyway, just send me a message and we'll see what happens :). Hrmmm....first date. Well, I'm honestly not that picky....but definitely something casual and comfortable. Dinner and a movie. Maybe go get some drinks afterwards and talk to get to know each other. You know, something simple.
