Hello! I am employed and I enjoy my job..., most of the time. I try to keep things pretty simple with a positive attitude on life..., and always try to live by the Golden Rule. I am Spiritual and belong to a fellowship. In the summer you would find me on the beach with my girlfriends...in the winter I am happiest with snow on the ground...or looking for it in the mountains. I prefer being outdoors. Traveling is part of me, German Father and Guyanese Mother saw to that...now I would like to try for more of Europe, maybe Thailand. I have a cousin living there for the next few years. Life for me is simple and I avoid drama at all cost. I never had children but have been blessed to have had and have many of them as a constant in my life ... I'm not sure how it happened...but my life has been full because of them! I believe that I am perfectly imperfect and my friends tell me that I am a Good Listener, Respectful, Trustworthy, Understanding, Funny, Curious and Infectiously Happy. I believe a healthy relationship is being able to show your feelings, all of them..and..I believe in the three C's, Conversation, Compassion and Compromise. I'm adventurous and still a bit of a thrill seeker, I like to drive fast ;). Although, I am at the time of my life where it just takes takes a bit longer to recover. My search is about a desire, not a need. What is most important to me is about sharing our hopes and dreams together..., being supportive to each other & cherish our lives where we can achieve our goals with endless possibilities. A partner that can give freely of themselves, and appreciates the same in return. I believe we should be both students and teachers so we both can learn from each other and other's in our lives. I am looking for someone who is realistic and down to earth and wants to live a wonderful life. It's not about what you have or don't have, it's what is in your heart and how you treat others that will show who you really are. And yes, let's be honest, chemistry is important to everyone and we all have our taste..., prefer athletic average or a little husky types. I know what I appreciate and also know what I don't want. Life is to short for Games, and it just becomes to disheartening. It's not what we get out of the relationship that counts... it is what we bring into it that gives it life. I know we are not all perfect, we are human and desire that Special Someone. FAITH, HOPE and LOVE..., But The Greatest Of These Is LOVE. As for likes and dislikes...practically everything is in the like column except dancing...I was not blessed with rhythm...I will always give it a shot though, not to proud to give it a shake! I love most music, ...and I enjoy singing too...although, once again, was not blessed in that area either. As for movies, I love everything but Horror flicks.So my question is; Is there someone who will be willing to take a chance in a friendship to see where it may bring us?"Thank You" for taking your time out and reading my profile.     Ok, meetville wants me to write a long and exciting description..... I have been single for 6 months now and am getting used to it. With grown children, my time is my own now. Well, after work that is. I love to be outside even though the mosquites love me sooooo much! I grew up fishing and prefer that over shopping. Cooking, quilting and yard work make me happy. I was married all my adult life, so loyalty and commitment are not an issue. Dating has changed since I last dated at the tender age of 21. I have gotten older but my mind has not... Yikes, that is just not fair. I finally have my head on straight and my body gets older and starts needing repairs. Again... not fair!I am a massage therapist that does not give happy endings...Ha!     I have this desire, to find someone who is looking for me. However, he's moved out and I'm living life as a woman with no band schedules to follow!! I love the Cubbies. I am a retired(meaning, too old-teehee) slow pitch softball and volleyball player. The body is not what it used to be. teeheee The heart and mind are willing!!! I love to go and do about anything. I raised my son from 1 to 12 with my family's help, got my bachelors degree during that time and have 19 years in the same employer. When I can, I would like to retire and do things that help others. Want someone who is just as stable!! Love life and when I do something it's full of passion and excitement. Love to do new things. Love to people watch. Love love love the sun, water and the beach. Moonlight strolls, sand volleyball, cuddling, and sharing life with someone who has the same passions and romance ideas about life I do!! Family will help you when you're down and just laugh to help you get thru things. I know God is not done with me yet and can't wait to see what He has in store for me!! Love action, romance and suspense movies(although, I'd have to hold on while it's getting good). No blood and guts. One thing I would love to say about you is: I LOVE THE WAY YOU HOLD ME! Jaime Grace sings an awesome song that describes this statement perfectly. I also am involved with the campus Habitat for Humanities group. They are an amazing group of college kids. Update: It's been fun looking thru all these profiles and checking out the different profiles. I think the only thing I want to add to mine is, I would love to find someone who wants to take care of me as I want to take care of them. Also, must love to talk to fit in with my overly talkative family! And if you don't smile naturally, thats a problem. life is to short to hold on to things that make you angry!!!
