I'm beginning to wonder if this is ever going to work, but where else do you meet someone when you are in an elementary school all day and don't frequent bars?... I am a special education teacher. Love my job. I am also an outdoors person... do not like to be stuck inside. I love the beach, as much as the woods, camping (I graduated from a tent long ago), hiking, traveling, having a beer at a little dive near the water, riding my Harley ( but I do not fall into the "Harley chick" category). I consider myself low maintenance-- I don't dye my hair and I hate to shop. I am comfortable with who I am--meaning- I try to be the best me I can. Have been a special education teacher for 15 years and love teaching. There is a special place in my heart for children with special needs. Laughter and a sense of humor are very important to me-- they have steered me through many a difficult situation.Raised three boys (pretty much alone - now do you see why my hair is this color? LOL!). Two who are Air Force-needless to say I am very patriotic. Support our military men and women, but I don't do politics. I do not need a man to take care of me-I own my own home, car and have a good job, however, I would love a man to share life with. I have a lot to give to the right person. I understand the balance of having a solid relationship and still maintaining your independence. I have edited my profile a couple times, but now I realize the person who will compliment my life is out there, somewhere. If it is meant to be on here, he will find me.PS: If you say you want a relationship, but don't have the time to devote to building it, then I am not the woman for you. I'm not asking you to give up your freedom, independence, house, friends. Only hoping for a man who is true and honest with himself and wants to enrich his life with a partner who has a lot to share and has an good heart. Just sayin' Drinks, coffee, laughter, somewhere casual. I love any little hole in the wall near water.

I have this desire, to find someone who is looking for me. Someone who wants to hang out, have fun, enjoy life, be there for me and knows I'll be there for him, enjoys family, traveling, being spontaneous, talking up a storm, dreaming, laughing, dancing, being silly, and loves to hold me and be together. No more texting for months, *** talking on the phone, etc. I love human interaction!! Ah just watched The Notebook again. Cried again. i'm such a sappy romantic. However, he's moved out and I'm living life as a woman with no band schedules to follow!! I love the Cubbies. I am a retired(meaning, too old-teehee) slow pitch softball and volleyball player. The body is not what it used to be. teeheee The heart and mind are willing!!! I love to go and do about anything. I raised my son from 1 to 12 with my family's help, got my bachelors degree during that time and have 19 years in the same employer. When I can, I would like to retire and do things that help others. Want someone who is just as stable!! Love life and when I do something it's full of passion and excitement. Love to do new things. Love to people watch. Love love love the sun, water and the beach. Moonlight strolls, sand volleyball, cuddling, and sharing life with someone who has the same passions and romance ideas about life I do!! Family will help you when you're down and just laugh to help you get thru things. I know God is not done with me yet and can't wait to see what He has in store for me!! Love action, romance and suspense movies(although, I'd have to hold on while it's getting good). No blood and guts. One thing I would love to say about you is: I LOVE THE WAY YOU HOLD ME! Jaime Grace sings an awesome song that describes this statement perfectly. I also am involved with the campus Habitat for Humanities group. They are an amazing group of college kids. Update: It's been fun looking thru all these profiles and checking out the different profiles. I think the only thing I want to add to mine is, I would love to find someone who wants to take care of me as I want to take care of them. Also, must love to talk to fit in with my overly talkative family! And if you don't smile naturally, thats a problem. life is to short to hold on to things that make you angry!!! Pretty much anything that entails, having fun, having plenty of time to talk and just getting to know each other. It's even better if he plans it. Show me who you are and I'll show you!!!
