!When I was 17, I joined the Navy for 4 yrs. and did aviation electronics. I worked on the communications equipment for the F-18s. Stationed at Va. Beach, where sometimes you could just watch the jets practice touch and go's, with their engines at full blast and the after burners lighting up the night. It was truly an experience that was beyond amazing! I have a job I've been at now for the past 17 yrs, that I love, and people I work with that are like family.On the personal side, I have three boys, who are ages 21, 18 and 14. And, who, as all parents that are honest, will agree, have made me laugh, cry and feel things, I'm not even sure there are words to describe. And, I adore them but am also extremely happy to have shared custody with their father. A few of my favorite things: Favorite color is pink... favorite sound to hear is kids laughing... favorite thing to watch is sunrises and sunsets (especially on a beach just about anywhere)... AND, favorite food group is definitely ICE CREAM :)!!I like to shoot pool or play darts, though I don't go out to bars much. I like listening to all kinds of music from Rock to Country (well, I come from down south, what did you expect?). I also love to travel and have been all over the US for both work and pleasure.;;!!!In terms of what I'm looking for, I've heard it said, when we find the right person, it's like finding a missing puzzle piece, it just fits, without being forced, you know it because it feels right. It is next to impossible to summarize who one truly is in a profile such as this, but I will try to hit some of the high points. First, I can assure you I am not like most women. I am all "Lady", but can also be a bit of a tomboy. There's not much I won't try (unless it involves jumping out of a perfectly good airplane or off a bridge with a rubber band around my ankle). I love animals of all kinds. I am a fairly quiet person until I get to know someone, but I am not shy. Once I get comfortable with someone, I am very outgoing. I love to laugh and have fun, and try to have fun in almost anything I do; but there is also a very serious side of me. I enjoy good music, of most genres but prefer country and blues (no rap, please). I am writing my first book. I also enjoy working out. I went through an extended period of time a few years ago which required me to put myself on the back burner and try to take care of everyone and everything else. I am now attempting to get back to the physical condition I was in before that chapter in my life by getting into a good, healthy work-out routine and eating right. Living healthy is important to me. I like to go out and have fun, but also enjoy spending time at home, relaxing, cuddling up with that someone special and watching a good movie. I believe a relationship between a man and a woman requires 100% dedication. I have been a Christian for 40 years. My relationship with God, through Jesus Christ, is my top priority.
