Though involved in their lives, they are requiring less and less of mom's time. Reading a good book, going to live music concerts, Yankee baseball games, NYC to just walk around and take in the sights and sounds, St. I also enjoy cooking, taking pictures and viewing old pictures reminiscent of the past--like to scrapbook and write. I am a very intense and passionate person who loves to do things for my guy creating mood makers and nice settings to enjoy life ! It is very important my guy is able to do the same. If you are unable to make a plan and take the lead, we would not connect in the way I am desiring. I am truly looking for my best friend and lover. No wolves in sheep's clothing, PLEASE because if I do not initially see through any BS, my close circle of friends will ! :-) My idea of a great first date happens AFTER the initial meeting between two interested people. An ideal first date to me could be many settings dependent upon moods, seasons, events, etc. Atmosphere is important--a nice fire, great music, and comfortable seating are all great enhancements so both individuals can gaze and talk and really begin to get to know each other. A great first date could also be taking in a hockey or baseball game--first and after stopping in an intimate pub, sitting in a booth having a couple of drinks, laughing and talking***ability to tune the rest of the world out and focus and talk. A great first date could be a picnic in the park, blanket spread, wine and cheese, (portable CD player with nice music playing)--again good atmosphere to talk. Actually, a great first date would be GREAT if the guy came up with the plan and surprised me!

    Hello to those reading this. I love animals, nature, and doing relaxing things on weekends such as hiking or canoeing followed by eating at a local spot. Staying in and watching a great movie while snuggling on the sofa also never gets old. I like the city but I'm a country girl at heart. Other things that I like to do are going to places like flea markets, fairs, music festivals. Touring historic homes or sites are fun, or just walking up a street of nice or old homes - trying to decide which one I would pick if given the choice. Besides the standard meeting for a drink, which can be really nice or really awkward(!), I think meeting at a place like a mall or flea market can be an option as it gives you lots to talk about as you walk around, get to learn each others tastes, and you don't have to be staring at each other the whole time (assuming it's that awkward date!). However, meeting for a drink always works as well. As we all know - it's the chemistry that really counts...
