I like to travel and see new places, meet new people, experience new cultures... I love to be near the water, whether it's a beach, a lake or simply a creek. I read a lot on the rare occasion I'm relaxing; however, I'm rather high energy (naturally). Do NOT enjoy being lazy (or around laziness). I enjoy most any genre of music with the exception of rap and opera. Like to watch a good movie - mostly comedy, as I love to laugh!!! What I enjoy most is being able to go out dancing, at least once a month - NOT at all into the bar scene, just like to dance, so I tend to go in, dance for an hour or two and leave - it's my stress reliever!!! I'm a "smiler" - would rather be smiling than anything else!!! Don't enjoy drama and avoid it as much as is possible!!!Enough rambling - if interested, mail me and we will see what happens!?!Happy Hunting!!! Something, such as dinner or meet at a Starbucks to just meet and see if you can carry on an intelligent and stimulating conversation (intelligence is VERY attractive to me). Maybe a walk on the beach/lake? Basically an environment that is conducive to conversation so that we could get to know each other better and find out if there is any sort of connection to pursue!?! Don't want to waste my time or yours!!!

Hello to those reading this. I love animals, nature, and doing relaxing things on weekends such as hiking or canoeing followed by eating at a local spot. Staying in and watching a great movie while snuggling on the sofa also never gets old. I like the city but I'm a country girl at heart. Other things that I like to do are going to places like flea markets, fairs, music festivals. Touring historic homes or sites are fun, or just walking up a street of nice or old homes - trying to decide which one I would pick if given the choice. I am currently volunteering with an animal adoption group and the county tricentennial anniversary group. I would to find someone to share the fun times of life with (and sometimes not so fun), a person who shares at least some of my interests - someone who could be a true best friend. Besides the standard meeting for a drink, which can be really nice or really awkward(!), I think meeting at a place like a mall or flea market can be an option as it gives you lots to talk about as you walk around, get to learn each others tastes, and you don't have to be staring at each other the whole time (assuming it's that awkward date!). However, meeting for a drink always works as well. As we all know - it's the chemistry that really counts...
