I have a back injury that has caused two surgeries the most recent in December of ***. It was my dearest hopes and dreams that the recent surgery would make me at least mostly pain free. So far that is not the case. It is a 6 month recovery and I am only a little over 2 months in so I still have some hope. I just rejoined the gym to do everything in my power to insure as full of a recovery as possible but obviously I will not be hiking or riding snowmobiles any time soon. Before my injury in ***I work over 60 hours a week and was extremely social. Now I am on disability and have restricted activities. I also get a little money from my retirement so I can financially get by. Please don't respond to my profile if you are half my age.     Internet dating is certainly a flawed system, and largely because of this impossible task of describing oneself. Hopefully, soon you & I will be sipping wine and laughing about the drawbacks of internet dating, but admitting we are thankful that we both took the leap of faith and engaged in all the strenuous and timely "weeding out" that was needed in order to find one another.. I love being outdoors and enjoying the most beautiful things that nature has to offer. I'm often found spending my weekends fishing with my kids or taking a nice hike! If I'm with the right companion, I love dancing the night away, and a good sense of humor is extremely important to me when choosing friends. I feel a sense of humor also is a sign of intelligence.
