I'm an award winning professional visual artist. I like to draw my fellow humans in charcoal or pastel and use symbols, metaphor and surrealistic imagery in my work. I am sometimes a gallery curator and art consultant. I make commissioned portraits.I have three grown independent children and they are amazing. I have 10 siblings and given that fact, I obviously have the best Mom in the world!I am passionate and serious about life and love, but playfulness and a good laugh add spice and fun. I feel happiest being near oceans, rivers, lakes and streams. Dancing free-form is a lifelong passion. I like to stay fit and besides dance, I love walking, hiking and yoga. I sometimes play the Irish drum, but mostly so that I can get into the circle close enough to the musicians to have a better view to sketch them. I like to meet new people and travel. I tend to be kind and gentle and genuinely care about people. I trust my intuition.I started my own cafe/gallery business and that still gets raves but I am ready to switch gears and look forward to spending more time making art! It may be fun to own a gallery, I have enough connections in the art world to make that happen. The world is our oyster, let's dive in! I believe that dating long distance can work if there is a good, strong connection!I enjoy the company of intelligent and creative fun-loving men who are in their element attending cultural events or simply having an evening at home, sharing a bottle of wine and creating slow food together. If we click, an ideal first "date" would be to meet for a nice glass of imported wine by candlelight in an elegant and subdued club. Then we could take in an art opening of some really fabulous surrealist paintings where we would meet and have great conversation with interesting and colorful people. Maybe it would be a "happening" sort of place, with live art going on and weird and wonderful live music, spoken word and dancing! Afterwards, small plates at a hip tapas bar. Yes, that would be a dream date, but I would be happy with something a little less spectacular, especially since you are spectacular!

A first date depends on the people who are going to meet and what they both enjoy. I would want my first date to be something we both enjoy doing. I would not want my first date to be at Starbucks ( also over- rated). LOLHaving said that, I think the first date should be decided by us ( together). If your idea of a first date is Starbucks, Wings and Things, or at your house, then count me out. A good first date for me would be going for a walk near the beach or in a park, then a happy hour somewhere, preferably a place outside with a band. Have you ever been to Monterrey Bay Cannery ( spelling ?Of course this is just one suggestion I have.- frame cottage, then cook some ravioli while drinking a glass of Merlot and have dinner in front of the fire. Now that's a date! My security guard would be in the next room of course!! JKLets just wait and see how we connect and then decide what we should do... OK?
