I am happy with my lot in life, but...Life is meant for 2!! I lead an active and fun filled life, spending much of my free time competeing in intermediate rallying competitions. When I'm not tearing through the forest or crashing through the safety bales! I can be found building tree houses and mountain biking through the contryside with my children and 2 year old grandson; who are my pride and joy (and the reason I have grey hair!). I am honest and hard working with a great sense of humour and challenge you not to be in fits of laughter after spending time with me. I am looking for a women who likes to take life as it comes and who appreciates the important things in life. No Pressure! Let's just relax...become friends & get to know each other... and see what happens. Plenty of easy free flowing conversation and giggles.

Things I seek in a woman: Intelligence. Assertiveness. Ambition. Confidence and a sense of self-worth. A sense of humor, maybe even a wicked sense of humor. A woman that doesn't need a man, but wants one in her life. A woman that waits for the man to open the door. (this not just a first-date thing - something ingrained in my character and a way of my life.) She should; have a career, volunteer or have an avocation to keep her mind, body and spirit occupied. She should have an active life-style in which she is concerned about her health and body – but not obsessively. She should have the little black dresses, but able comfortably and confidently go to coffee or a live music performance in a t-shirt and jeans. A most important item: the ability to communicate and stave-off unnecessary arguments by listening and talking. A great conversation is one, in which, any particular topic is never finished before taking- She should take the time (or at-least attempt) to construct complete sentences, with whole words. Making a meager attempt at the 'lost art' of writing impresses me. She should show some creative originality. I'm not the typical guy - I'd rather "do something" than "watch" a sporting event on TV. Agree on thirty minutes. If either is not interested, then each have an exit strategy and can leave after the thirty minute mark without hurting anyone's feelings. If the conversation is compelling…that will prolong the meeting naturally.
