If you'e the one, you know it isn't just about the physical although that's very important and will come with time - you know it's also about a look, a smile - it's about preparing dinner together while sharing a glass of wine - it's about holding each other when one or the other needs comforting.It's also about sharing laughter. One of the greatest gifts you can give someone doesn't cost a dime - just make them laugh - I'm told I'm pretty good at that.I like both the mountains and the ocean but am more of a country gal at heart and am most comfortable in jeans. I lived off the grid on a mountainside cabin in Vermont for years and know what it's like to split and stack wood and get my hands dirty in the garden. With that said, I clean up pretty good. I enjoy dancing (slow and fast), walking, water aerobics, meandering through small towns and back roads in my Mustang with my top down - car not me :). I like spending time with friends yet treasure my quiet times. I retired from a 30-year career with IBM and several years later started a second career as a full time writer with a local newspaper and later still as an editor/writer. Now I'm a part-time freelance writer for several regional magazines and enjoy the flexibility that provides me with. I believe we attract to us that which we expect to attract - therefore you must be a positive person. I'll love but not hate, prefer hot to cold and believe the true character of a man can be gauged in part, by the number of laugh lines he's earned. I'd like to think you feel the same way about those laugh lines. I have a full and happy life but would like to share it with a kind, sensitive, loving and secure man; but you must be someone who is comfortable enough and self-assured enough to appreciate all of my strengths without being threatened by them.
