One thing I am most passionate about is living this life to its fullest. I don't intend to take my last breath having regrets about the things that I wanted to do but was too afraid to try, or didn't have the energy, or was told it was impossible. Life is really very short. If there's something you want to do, just do it. One of the more important things I am looking for in a person is integrity--someone who has a desire to do the right thing, not just for fear of getting caught or in trouble. But someone who truly knows the difference between right and wrong and tries their best to apply this in their daily life.I feel very blessed in many ways. I have had the good fortune to go to college, and my job is most often very gratifying. I have great, young adult children who are pretty independent at this point. I have been able to travel and see the world a bit, and I was raised to believe that nothing is impossible if you put your mind to it. I feel as though I've reached a point where I am ready for a lifelong, committed relationship. My goal is to find someone with whom I can share mutual love and respect that will last a lifetime. I love to travel and explore, and try to visit new places (either locally or far away) as often as possible. I enjoy art, music and live shows. I recently joined an improv comedy group, and dabble a bit on stage. I recently began weight training because it's quick and easy. I try to keep myself healthy and fit. I would say that I don't spend a great deal of 'down time' sitting still, but I do appreciate the occasional Saturday night on the couch with a glass of wine and movie.

    I believe any relationship should start out as friends first. I hope to find my best friend/soulmate as a start to what will hopefully lead into an amazing future. Other things I like is walking hand in hand, lazy weekend mornings, spontaneous outings, star gazing, laying in bed listening to a nice thunderstorm.For exercise, I enjoy walking - I like to read, watch movies of all kinds, listen to all types of music, but prefer 80s and country.I am not a materialistic type of person but I admit I want someone who will treat me special and spoil me. Not with things but with attention and affection. I want to do the same for the special man in my life. I want to be the couple that everyone talks about how we are so in love after all those years! Let's face it, no relationship is perfect and there will always be some disagreements. I want someone who is willing to communicate through those disagreements. Someone who will talk through things until we work them out and who is willing to compromise. I never want to go to bed angry!I hope to meet you soon - I know you are out there, I just don't know where you have been all my life! :) Someplace where we can talk and get to know each other.
