Since I am on the tail end of raising children I would prefer someone who's children are already grown or in the same stage of life as I am.

The glass is half full for me most of the time and I’m optimistic almost to a fault. I can be serious but prefer to look at the lighter side of things and can usually find something to laugh about no matter what happens. Not a super athlete by any means but I do work out so I’m reasonably fit. Love music, especially classic rock although my kids introduced me to a lot of newer music during their teen years. I like to cook and try new recipes, keeping it healthy (unless chocolate is involved), and love relaxing on the deck with a glass of wine while grilling, especially if there’s someone special with me. I try to be outdoors as much as possible, preferable in or around the lake or the beach.
