Even though I am very loyal and committed it takes a Special man to be in my life. If he is controlling or jealous it will never work! It makes me feel good to see MY GUY with a big smile on his face. Oh yeah... maybe not at the same time tho...lol ......and lots of adventure! Theres just so much to still see and do. And I want all those things, but more importantly to have someone special to share them with by my side.*** WARNING! ! FROM HERE ON I BEGIN TO RAMBLE ..LOL... READ ONLY IF ITS LATE AT NITE AND YOU HAVE NOTHING BETTER TO READ! !! ************I actually enoy doing just about anything.. I can start the day off in jeans and get dirty and zip up an evening gown in the evening and feel comfortable in either situation and enjoy the events. I really enjoy entertaining friends and family. I like the hostess with the mostest role...lol I'm upbeat and generally a pretty happy person. Easy to get along with, if i cant get along with you theres something wrg....lolI'm definately not a ***year old hot body, but for my age I dont think look too bad, and I'm definately just as young at heart as they are, but have aged and gained class and wisdom. I dont play the 3 date rule game, i dont believe in that nonsense.My biggest fault is that I was/am a smoker, although I am in process and quitting--I almost have it kicked.. determination!!!! Other than that, I am clean and disease free and DRAMA FREE and intend on staying that way!.ABSOLUTELY DO NOT WANT a couch potatoe. Must be attractive and active and Fun. Looking for possible LTR ,not just one of many playmates. Someone who is faithful and will be truthful and upfront with me. Great sense of humor and not afraid to let loose and have fun and able to commit to one girl if the connection is there. No games here....choose your words and actions wisely. Do what you say and say what you mean. Someone who is Geniune-- Would be nice to find something unique that might turn into a long term situation if things were to progress that way. I subscribe to a "Think deeply, speak gently, love much, laugh a lot, word hard, give freely and be kind" way of living, where integrity, honesty, trust, laughter and kindness frame my picture of love, life, levity, and everything that is boldly colored in between. I believe that "coloring outside the lines" promotes greater self-discovery and risk, both of which are extremely important and yes, attractive, sexy and desirable, to me as a writer, educator and most importantly, a parent. When we restrict ourselves to a neatly designed and prescribed, flawless template of how we're supposed to look and behave, we inevitably are not being our authentic selves. For me, to embark on a relationship not being who we are is inevitably destined to fail because in the end, it's based on pretense and falsehood***not the ideal foundation for a loving, lasting relationship.My mission as a special educator is to individualize *** broken and bitter high school kids who have been through serious and often, life threatening traumas in their lives, where school took a back burner to just making it through the day. Our mission as loving and caring educators is to restore their faith in "man/womankind," and convince them how much they matter~~ despite their belief to the contrary~~ to themselves, and the people in their lives who love them.When I'm not trying to make the lives of these kids better, I love to hike, power walk, play with my dogs for hours, blog, read, and sip ridiculously good coffee with ridiculously awesome people. I find intellect extremely attractive .I also believe that you can tell whether a relationship is going to work with one kiss. So much can be said in that one kiss..... I have no set script for a first date other than it happens after some thoughtful, meaningful, and yes, flirtatious conversations, via phone, text, etc., that creates a very welcome flurry of butterflies in my stomach that lets me know that we won't be checking our watches every four minutes once we take the plunge and meet. Outdoor cafes; out-of-the-way coffee shops that at least 'offers' Fair Trade coffee with their other selections; independent book stores; beautiful parks conducive for walking and talking; and if all of that feels right, an "evening" date at a candle-lit pub or wine bar that offers tasty crudites and atmosphere.

I have 3 grown children all whom I am extremely pround of. Oldest 2 are in college and living on their own. My youngest has just completed with high honors 4 years active duty with USMC and is now 4 year reserves while attending college in LA, CA. I also have a ***yr old Pug (Paws).I do believe in God but will not be a church goer. I was force fed the Baptist religion and now I just do the best I can in life while living the good life. I do drink socially and smoke ...neither do I personally think will condem me to hell. Hmmm....fall is here and a great time to find something to do outdoors. A day trip to anywhere wether it be on 2 wheels, 4 wheels or 4 legs...I am all in! Take in the color/sights and activities of the season. Pack a picnic for 2 and suprise me! I am not an "over the top" kinda person. Please don't ask me what I want to do...you plan it and pick me up on the way! Caution: no seafood or road kill!
