Well, so here I go, first time trying on-line dating. This takes some courage I see. But I'm currently missing out on some of my favorite things: cooking dinner for someone I adore, cuddling on the couch with candles lit watching a movie, planning a trip with someone special, buying that perfect gift just as a nice surprise . . . maybe that's where you come in. About me, I have never had children, and am the "cool aunt" who hangs out plenty with her nieces and nephews. I have a wonderful family and great group of friends, both of which are very important to me. I also have a five-pound yorkie, Louie, who ranks right up there with family. Well, except when he misses the potty pad... ;-) I have an excellent, interesting job. I am kind, caring, warm and affectionate, love to laugh, an optimist, outgoing and social, easy to get along with and not a game player. I am enthusiastic about most everything. I am as dependable as a DeWalt drill or set of Craftsman tools (ha, my brother helped me out with that line.) I am a romantic, and love watching sunsets, cooking dinner together, sitting in front of the fireplace with a nice bottle of wine open, hand holding, receiving unexpected flowers, oh, and really really love when a man surprises me in my driveway with a shovel or huge snow blower after a big snow fall.... ;-) I'm as comfortable in tight jeans, as yoga pants, as formal attire, and enjoy wearing each. I love trying new things, and I don't always color inside the lines...And you? I'm looking for a man who is honest, genuine and trustworthy. I like a man who is confident, fun, honest, attractive, active, and outgoing. I like a man who has a passionate interest in life, knows himself, can express his feelings, and has a strong work ethic. A romantic is really a plus. Ultimately, I would love to meet someone who enjoys similar activities, is happy, and in the same good place in life. I'm looking for a long-term relationship with someone to share my life with, and ideally grow old with, spending winters walking the ocean beaches holding hands.     The glass is half full for me most of the time and I’m optimistic almost to a fault. I can be serious but prefer to look at the lighter side of things and can usually find something to laugh about no matter what happens.
