Well, so here I go, first time trying on-line dating. This takes some courage I see. But I'm currently missing out on some of my favorite things: cooking dinner for someone I adore, cuddling on the couch with candles lit watching a movie, planning a trip with someone special, buying that perfect gift just as a nice surprise . . . maybe that's where you come in. About me, I have never had children, and am the "cool aunt" who hangs out plenty with her nieces and nephews. I have a wonderful family and great group of friends, both of which are very important to me. I also have a five-pound yorkie, Louie, who ranks right up there with family. Well, except when he misses the potty pad... ;-) I have an excellent, interesting job. I am kind, caring, warm and affectionate, love to laugh, an optimist, outgoing and social, easy to get along with and not a game player. I am enthusiastic about most everything. I am as dependable as a DeWalt drill or set of Craftsman tools (ha, my brother helped me out with that line.) I am a romantic, and love watching sunsets, cooking dinner together, sitting in front of the fireplace with a nice bottle of wine open, hand holding, receiving unexpected flowers, oh, and really really love when a man surprises me in my driveway with a shovel or huge snow blower after a big snow fall.... ;-) I'm as comfortable in tight jeans, as yoga pants, as formal attire, and enjoy wearing each. I love trying new things, and I don't always color inside the lines...And you? I'm looking for a man who is honest, genuine and trustworthy. I like a man who is confident, fun, honest, attractive, active, and outgoing. I like a man who has a passionate interest in life, knows himself, can express his feelings, and has a strong work ethic. A romantic is really a plus. Ultimately, I would love to meet someone who enjoys similar activities, is happy, and in the same good place in life. I'm looking for a long-term relationship with someone to share my life with, and ideally grow old with, spending winters walking the ocean beaches holding hands. Hello! Ok...so I am very new to this online dating stuff...I dont have a lot of free time to devote to it, but who knows...maybe my life will get less crazy one day soon! I am a native Nashvillian...I love it here and wouldnt want to live anywhere else...visiting is nice tho :) .... I have 2 kids who are grown with kids of their own. My Mother is very special to me and I do what I can to help her in any way. I love my family time and whoever is with me should enjoy that with me as well. Dont get me wrong, I like my alone time as well, with that special someone. I prefer a NON Smoker and a NON heavy drinker. I love to bowl and take walks/hikes when time permits. I work a lot and my free time is limited so I enjoy what I can, When I can! I am very honest and extremely nice...some say too nice. I absolutely think laughter is the BEST medicine. I love being doted on and feeling like I am something special to someone. It is refreshing to me to think that someone special has planned a special 'date' with me. I love almost any kind of music, especially the 80s and 90s. Not a huge Rap fan. Movie going is a plus for me...it gives me a chance to forget about work and totally lose myself in the movie. Comedies are the BEST but I am not opposed to a good Action or Drama movie (without the blood and guts). Eventually I would love to not have to work so much and be able to spend time doing special and fun things more often. I go to church on Sundays and have been going to the same church for the last 39 years. I am very spiritual and I truly believe everything happens for a reason and that there is an ultimate plan for me, although I am not sure of what that is!! Who knows...maybe me getting on this site and doing online dating is something I have been meant to do in order to meet that special someone. Thank you for taking time to read my profile. Depending on the weather, maybe a nice walk in the park, Stopping for Ice Cream along the way, or just meeting up over coffee and chatting for a bit. Going to a Movie on a first date probably wouldnt be a good idea because we cant talk, unless we REALLY want to make some people mad! :)

About me...Well, I believe that I have good balance in my life. I'm a positive and happy person who loves to share a smile. I have a very diverse personality and can fit in anywhere in any situation, meaning, from a ball cap, chaps and boots to a formal and heels and known to do both in the same weekend. I have an open heart and always speak my truth. I'm very affectionate, a little cuddle bug who loves wedging myself in under your arm. Favorite seasons are spring and fall, fall being my first choice!Downtime, a fire in the fireplace and hanging out in your comfy oversized shirt. Perfection isn't on my radar screen and hoping it's not on yours. As far as what type a guy I'm looking for? Well, I can't really pinpoint the 'specific' man type, I just know it or I don't. It's how I feel when I'm around him, how excited I get when I see him.
