Hi there!! I've been told this is a great place for meeting new people and since I seem to run into the same people over and over, thought I'd give it a try. I spend most of my time at work, but only because I can. I would love to have a reason to get out of there every night. Things I like: Breakfast at a nice diner or coffee shop on weekends. I like playing pool, but I'm not very good at it. Comedy Clubs are fun, and I love funny movies, bathroom humor, not so much. I like bowling, and I do pretty well...USUALLY. I have recently discovered I like going to the horse races. I love old cars and have 2 completely different classic cars (American and Japanese). I actually prefer old to new on most things. So much more character. I LOVE ice cream a little too much so I'm looking for a 12 step program if you know of one. (kidding)Things I don't like: Sushi and most seafood. Whiners and complainers. Arrogance. Animal Abuse. Being cold. Oh, and I have no room in my life for liars or drug users. What I'm looking for: My 2 daughters are grown and on their own, so I'd like to meet someone who is not terribly tied down.....in other words, available at least some evenings and most weekends to go goof off and explore new adventures with. Hopefully it will evolve into a long term relationship, but if not then I've at least made a new friend. Attraction and chemistry are important to me, so if I don't respond to your message, I'm sorry but it's because I don't feel we'd connect.So, did I miss anything? Is the first date after we meet? I could never decide which one I liked above all others and where it should go. So I'm still thinking...I like traveling. I was in the Air Force as a young adult from ***thru ***, 4 years and 8 months.- I would like to say that I can travel at a moments notice but I can't - due to my job I have to plan ahead. I love the warm tropical times of the year. I like most kinds of music. I like to dance, when I do housework, lol. My friends would describe me as dependable, hard working, funny and a good friend. If I can make you laugh, all the better!. I know most people say that they have a sense of humor, but my friends tell me I'm funny, really!I like sports, I like to participate more than watch. Although my sister is very knowledgeable about football and basketball so when playoffs or the superbowl is on, I watch a couple of games so we can have something to talk about.. I have gone to flat track races, superbike races, nascar and nhra. I took a flat track class Dec 09 and had a blast! I like riding my motorcycle, I would not consider myself a 'biker'. My parents rode motorcycles and I've grown up with them. I really drove a replica indy car - it was a rush and I loved it, I wish I could have gone faster. I'm not a perfect body type, I've lived life, had kids (two).I work on my home, yard work and whatever I think I can handle. I'm not afraid of work and don't mind getting dirty as long as I can take a long hot shower! I like architecture and history - and how things work. I am curious about a lot of things and hope I never feel like I know it all! - I love seeing my grandkids looks of wonder on their faces when something catches their eye. I still believe in romance and love. I just got back on line after a couple of years. will post a new pic soon. hair is a lot longer, not much else different, same eye color. my first date would be over coffee/tea, talking about what we like to do. Maybe movies we've seen or books we've read, or things we want to do. Watching for a spark, and taking it from there...
