I'm hoping to make this short, sweet and not turn this into an autobiography because "ain't nobody got time for that." I'm here looking to find interesting and caring people who share similar interests and want to push each other to be better. One day I'd love to meet someone who will look at me the same way that I look at pizza. I love a person with a quick wit and value intelligence, creativity and imagination over looks. About me:Currently I work at the H-E- Don't get me started on how much I despise cottage cheese. It's vile, disgusting but gives job security. I work very hard (it's not easy but fun) and the job benefits and opportunities available are very welcoming plus I get the weekends off! My job provides the means to do what's really important in life: living for my family and friends.• I'm usually fairly well dressed, I smile and laugh a lot, I make funny and/or offensive jokes frequently, I'm charming, charismatic, and frank. People don't forget me. • I firmly believe that the most important person in your life is the person who agrees to share their life with you and should always be treated as such.• I can also accurately read your mind one out of every ten or so times.• I read everything. Outside of living in the world the best way to learn about the world is to read about it.• I both floss and brush my teeth in the shower and I've been doing it for years. It's like "me time".• I love all sorts of activities whether indoor or outdoor. Concerts, checking out local bands, going to the movies, fishing, biking, hiking, boats, camping, road trips come to mind first. • I have one signature dish, fontina and shrimp stuffed chicken breasts.Books: I love reading lots and lots of books. Crappy ones, disturbing ones, difficult ones, fun ones. I just have my one tiny life, but with books, I can live thousands more. I'll buy and read your favorite book, but asking me to sit down and watch your favorite TV show will be an exercise in futility, I think.P. Lovecraft, American Gods, Slaughterhouse- The Sun Also Rises would have to be my all time favorite. The book is beautiful. Everything from the bull fights to the simple fishing in the rivers. I cannot recommend this book highly enough. I usually enjoy doing a restaurant, store, nature path, pub or event as a first date.If this sounds boring then I can bring it up a notch. Roller skating. Arcade. Bar. Romantic as f***. I'll bring the quarters, let's make this magical.

If you can't laugh at yourself, then you can't laugh at anyone else. I have a self deprecating sense of humor and don't take myself too seriously. I like to spend time with my friends and family. I'd rather go out and people watch than be the one being watched. That's not to say I haven't been the center of attention. Repeat after me "I've been thrown out of way nicer places than this!".I don't have any duck face, pose off, self shot photos in the bathroom mirror. I will put up some pictures of me having a good time at a party with my family like a normal person. Maybe something from a vacation with my friends that doesn't involve glow sticks and sunglasses at night.When the weather is nice I like to get outdoors and golf, run, or even mow the lawn. I'd rather be outside doing something on a beautiful day. If its a nice night I'd rather sit outside in the beer garden with a drink and enjoy the night. When the weather turns and its cold and miserable outside I can stay inside and zone out in front of the tv, or sit inside the bar and put $7 worth of Hoobastank on the jukebox. I don't listen to country music but I've still been to a few country bars. I can't pick out any country songs so if that's what you want to hear I'll pay, you play. If there is Nickelback playing we will bump that off for our songs.Here's that part where I talk about my job. I'm a police officer (it's ok, you can call me a cop). I love what I do, but I am not defined by my job. It's what I do for a living, it is not what I live to do. I love that I get to work outside on the summer days and nights while the rest of the working world is sitting inside under the warming glow of the fluorescent lights. In the winter, not so much. All that stuff you see on tv or in movies, the car chases, gun fights, undercover stings. Yep it's pretty much like that.Its about time to wrap this up.-Laughing at others, good-Laughing at yourself, even better-Playing golf, running, or taking a long walk off a short pier on a beautiful day will always be better than watching it on tv.-The opposite is true when the weather gets bad.-I love dogs (I had to fit this in somewhere)-I enjoy good music. Nickelback is not good, or music,-Every day at work is like a new "Lethal Weapon" movie, or episode of "CSI".-Sorry my schedule sucks, I'm not lying if I say I have to leave soon because I start work at 11pm on a Friday night, or 7am on a Sunday morning.Wow, I'm sure hope I can go back and edit this and thin it out.... The first date can be going for drinks, coffee, dinner and seeing if we can stand each other. After that we can try to impress each other with fancy dinners, long walks by the beach, short walks by the beach, and other beach related activities.
