A mature, sweet ,intelligent woman that understands conviction and the differences between men and women would be a good candidate for conversation with me. You are who you are and you can only change some elements of your personality in very small ways. We can find the ability to learn and recreate our thinking on a few subjects when it involves someone we care for but we will always be tuned in to who we have become based upon our life decisions. To expect some metamorphosis because of someone new in our lives is a foolish endeavor that will always lead to dismal results. These are some of the lessons that life has brought to my attention. If you understand any of this and you have something to add , I'm all ears. What I think of Love? Love? It's all about knowing each other very ,very well and being comfortable with that knowledge. Its about having compassion and seeking first to understand and not to judge because when we hold up judgement first, mutual growth from any personal experience is extinguished. You cannot discourage a learner and we are always learning when we are in a healthy relationship. If we are quick to anger or frustration we sabotage communication channels and , in some cases, it's permanent as it leads to the death of a relationship. In most cases forgiveness and sincerity can heal most small transgressions. If you build your house right, you will not face the major betrayals that most relationships encounter at some point. Why is it so difficult to find someone? Our commercial world in the US has made us believe in our own fantasies to the point that most people who are single now will remain so because they have yet to learn the differences between the wishful dreamy world of cinderella and the incredibly vivid beauty of reality. We live and we die. That little dash between your birth date and your death date is the time you have to cherish your life. There is a sweet romance in experiencing every smile, a child's laughter,a tender kiss or a great conversation with equal appreciation. From camping in Yellowstone to SCUBA diving off the Jamaican coast, I have had amazing experiences and love being in places of beauty and peace. I'll sing karaoke or dress up as Santa Clause for the kids as I am game for anything. My son and I go to museums, motivate for weekend trips to the beach or to the mountains and we love a good campfire.

    A little about me.... well I'm very laid back, the kind of guy that would rather go to a pub and play pool, then go downtown to a dance club. Downtown doesn't really do anything for me anymore, I'm not 19.
