I am a city girl but I love being in the country. I'm glad I get to wear sneakers and comfortable clothes to work, but I love to get into heels and dress up. I'm a girly girl that grew up as a tomboy so I will take sports over almost anything! I know full well I am in enemy territory, but I really enjoy the rivalry!! I have an active job, training dogs for the Seeing Eye and walking about 8- I recently started up kickboxing (and not the kind where you punch the air in an aerobics class). It's really been great for my emotional health as well as the physical. Getting in there and attacking a heavy bag is good for the soul =) I am also an avid hiker, I really enjoy being outdoors. I enjoy camping but I haven't been in quite sometime, would love someone to do that with = I really do love it out here, and I've made some amazing friends. I have found that meeting the right guy hasn't come as easy and I am using as many outlets as possible until I finally meet the right guy. I recently bought a house, I have my dream job and a wonderful pup at home. To me my life feels complete and I have done everything completely independently. I would love to share this life that I have created with someone that also has their life together.I'm not looking for a certain "type". Attraction needs to be there first, but that's not the only thing. I need a good connection with someone. I want someone that I can talk to and laugh with easily. casual, no commitment, fun!

I like to spend my time with my friends and family but that doesn't mean I wouldn't make time for someone else if the right person came along. I like to listen to a wide variety of music ranging from country to pop to some rap to meditation to R&B and so on. I really just don't like music that has a lot of screaming that you can't understand or hardcore rock/rapI like to do a variety of things depending on weather and how many people are involved. I like to go for walks, go out in a boat, toss a ball and other such activities when the weather is nice. I like to play pinochle, board games and other card games if it's something inside. I also enjoy reading or curling up to watch something. I don't watch a lot of television, there are only a few shows I follow. I should probably warn you now that a lot of movie or television references are lost on me.I go for more of a practical dress style for working and doing things around the house. However I do like to dress up nice from time to time just because or if the occasion calls for it. I'm from a small town area so I'm more of a country girl than a city slicker, but I'm not a redneck and like to have intelligent conversations with people. I"m shy at first most of the time but open up as I feel comfortable with someone.I'm looking for someone who is honest and caring, someone that wants to go do something sometimes but likes to also stay home and relax other times. I am looking for that person that I can talk to about anything and yet silence isn't awkward. I want to make you smile but someone who will make me smile as well in return. I'm not into going to the movies. You can't really talk and get to know a person that well. I would say it would impart depend on the other person. There's the possibility of meeting for coffee, going to dinner and then out somewhere else. It depends on the two of us trying to decide together though
