I am reasonably bright with a distinct and active sense of humor. I believe I understand what real communication is (I can hear as well as speak)... I am a romantic at heart and I like to think that I am living proof that chivalry is not dead. I am passionate about the things I am passionate about...I have always found myself happiest when learning something new. I am very interested in the arts and typically prefer the thought provoking over fluff. My musical tastes are pretty eclectic; Jazz, Blues, R&B, Americana, World, Chamber and on...I tend to prefer independent and foreign movies, but there are plenty of exceptions. I really love live theatre and go often. Musicals are generally not my thing, but again there are always exceptions. I am just discovering modern dance (and love it). Museums and galleries are on my path. I read both fiction and non. I am a big baseball fan. I get to the gym, swim or do yoga several times a week. I like going to the beach...kayaking, snorkeling & scuba diving. I have traveled a fair amount, but have a long travel wish list...and a great desire for a travel partner. I am pretty active but, know how to slow down and am very capable of relaxing. I believe in critical thinking and ethical behavior without the supernatural. I don''t do well with injustice, racism or *** your social outlook is significantly different than mine we would probably not be a match.
