It's difficult to complete this section without sounding either arrogant or pathetic - and I'm neither. ;) Yes I want to fall in love and do the couples thing but I'm not desperate to find the person who is right for me by the end of this week, by the end of the month would be fine! lol I'm far from God's gift to women, I have plenty of faults but I also have plenty of strengths, I'm intelligent, articulate, have a great sense of humour (some would say verging on childish) and am very positive. I love dancing and going out to the occasional club but I'm just as happy staying in with a takeaway, a good film and a romantic and sexy partner. Mmmm! Some would say I'm attractive - that's for you to decide. I'm also happy, caring and an honest person who has lots to give the right lady. Whilst my children are grown up I love children so if you have any don't think that would put me off. I used to be one myself!As for the lady I am looking for - I don't have a prescription for the ideal lady. My last girlfriend was Filipino and I liked the Asian culture but equally I like black and white ladies. Well, here we go...I’m John, a genuine, caring, loyal, loving and sincere guy, I’ll find it hard to sell myself in words on here so please bare with me, I’ll apologise in advance if I do ramble on, however the more you find out about me the more I hope you like...I certainly follow the rule ‘treat people as you would like to be treated’, I believe in good old fashioned values and still see opening a door for someone, buying flowers and treating that special person like a princess to be important. I’m a great listener (and talker) and will always try to work through things as a team. It’s great if a couple can be best friends to each other, knowing that you can talk about absolutely anything...’t really enjoy my job but don’t hate it either, always looking for inspiration to do something I really enjoy but it’s becoming harder to gain the experience the way the world has become. My job is great in the sense I only work Monday to Friday so my weekends are always free to spend time doing things I love. Although life is always better when you have someone to share them with.I’m a pretty laid back guy and love doing most things in life (laid back as happy go lucky, not laid back as Zzz I don’t care) I love my music and I love films. At present I’m playing (**COUGH**) learning to play the guitar and getting into this as much as I can, picked it back up again after a long spell and I’m finding it just as hard! It’s been 6 months now though and it’s getting easier (he says :- So music wise I’m really an indie guy, listen to most genres but indie is where my heart lies, love going to watch live music and this could be anything from a well known band to gigs in the park/pub etc...I’ve done a few crazy things in my time for charity. Jumping out of a plane at 10,***feet has to be the best so far. The adrenaline rush was out of this world. I’ve also done a bungee jump and many other crazy stunts. I’m a true believer that you only live once so lets make it as interesting as possible...I’m up for anything fun and daring...I also love films, favourites would be a blend of horror, thriller and comedy. Again, I can watch most things and find it easy to get drawn into a decent storyline. I’ve really lost count on the amount of films I have seen.Watching TV is a mixed bag for me really...NEVER...it makes my eyes and ears bleed) I have been known to get drawn into some soaps on occasion (tongue in cheek) but I do like to watch documentaries, comedy shows (old and new) used to love Mighty Boosh, Drama’s and reality i.e. BGT, The Apprentice, I’m a Celeb and X-Factor (each to their own I suppose :-).So, other than the norm (if your still reading and I haven’t bored you to death yet) I do enjoy the outdoors, love adventures and love travelling. I’ve been to a good few faraway places but nowhere near as many as I would like too. I enjoy camping (weather permitting), mooching around, running and the beach. I hate being cold - having said that there is nothing like getting wrapped up warm on a crisp sunny winters day and venturing out...It’s the little things in life that make the big differences :-)On weekends and nights though I enjoy various things. This could be curled up on the sofa watching TV/Film, eating nice food in a restaurant, going to the pub, weekends away, day trips, shopping, takeaways, live events or just chilling with some good company and a good few bottles of red wine.So, that’s me (in a sort of nutshell) I did better than I thought to be honest, if you like what you have read and would like to chat then get in touch, I’m a really open and honest guy, love to laugh and love to smile.
