1.***I value relationships with people having inner and outer beauty. Especially important is spirituality and living a life inspired by the word of God. I'm not particularly interested in your religion (even though I attend virtual and live services every week) That helps me grow into the kind of person people value and want to be around. And that's the kind of person I want to be with. 2.***When I was 13 years old I stopped holding hands with my dad and mom - feeling independent (and embarrassed to do so). Gradually I began favoring time with my boyfriends, then with girls. Today, I'm longing again to hold hands with a female that shares some of the same values and interests (having a relationship with God, plus an attitude of gratitude and generosity.) My wife was one of those gals. She died 11.20.16. 3.***Every day when I walk in the woods and see the wonders of our creator I thank God for all of my blessings (family, friends, health, security). I'm also thankful to be blessed with problem solving and creative talents that have provided me with purpose and satisfaction plus a good middle class income to support my family - and now myself in retirement. 4.***I actually enjoy giving back some of what I've earned and volunteering to help people and organizations in need. I also have somewhat self-centered interests that include travel to foreign, national, state and local venues. Nature, people cultures, cuisines and customs can be fascinating. 5.***I have prayed to God for help finding a friend and companion, with potential for a long term relationship. In the process, I'm open to meeting women (and men) with common interests to share life experiences at the YMCA, Church, Bible study, volunteering, daily hikes in nature, concerts, dancing, and travel.
