I am 45 and recently single - married for 20 years, together for ***no commitment phobia here! It was a great 'run' and I have no regrets, but am ready to start the next chapter now. I'm pretty well-educated and smart, but not in a 'book smart' kind of way. I'm just a hard worker with a drive to succeed and do well. My interests are varied from reading and cooking to skiing and hiking. I love music (all genres) and recently come to appreciate some country too. I love a good TV drama -- but can't pass up the occasional episode of Seinfeld. I'm in very good physical condition, but just about to start with a personal trainer to be in excellent condition. My personal appearance is very important to me, so I live a healthy lifestyle, eat right, no drugs, and don't drink, but I don't mind if you do (drink, not the drugs - been there, done that!). I come from a very large and close family and we remain a part of each other's lives without hovering. Most people say that I am very good looking (although I say you'd never know that from any picture ever taken of me), have a great sense of humor, and a deep, caring, and sensitive side. I've lived a charmed life up to this point and even with this little turn in the road, have nothing but hope and optimism for continued happiness and success, especially with the woman in my life. With me you will always be respected and revered in many ways. I'll be attentive and sensitive when you need me to be, but to be fair, I am about as honest as one can get. So, if you don't really want the truth...I'm not the guy to ask the question. My answer to, "Do I look fat in these jeans?" got me in trouble more that a few times!!There's a lot more to me than can be answered here and I hope you're interested enough to ask. The first date depends on the people and their interests. Me, I would meet over breakfast, lunch, or dinner, or even just have a cup of coffee. Ideally though the weather would be good enough to take a stroll on the beach and listen to the waves as we get to know one another.

I have no clue what I am supposed to say here. Let's see...I host a radio show every weekend, 8 years running. I'm pretty shy in person though. More of a hang out guy than a go out guy. I enjoy going to theme parks though, often. My radio show focuses on indie pop from around the country and music is a big part of my life.I love the idea of meeting new friends. I tend to get silly when I am comfortable, but not in an obnoxious way. Laughter really is the best medicine, and a smile is all it takes to change someones entire day.I do not have kids but I enjoy being an uncle to my nephews. I'm certainly open to being a father or step-father one day. I do love spending time at theme parks. Ok, make that almost every week. If actually do find it relaxing over there as it is a big change from day to day life. My intent says 'nothing serious' but I am not ruling out any possibilities.
