My name is Mary. I'm also known as "Dolly" by close friends and family. This is unchartered territory for me. I've been a widow for about 4 years, and I'm ready to discover what else life holds for me. I was a registered nurse with specialties in medical and cardiac intensive care for more than 20 years (among other things like cardiology research and drug development for rare diseases). I'm retired now and only work occasionally and only when I have a hankering. I don't have any children, and I'm financially independent. I own 3 horses, but I only ride one of them. The other two are spoiled, retired lawn ornaments. I'm funny and I love to laugh. I can find humor in almost anything. I've been told that I'm pretty, but I'd rather be thought of as loyal, good-natured, kind, giving, affectionate, and someone in whom you can find comfort and that special someone that you love to be around. I love all kinds of music, and I don't mean just scratching the surface . . . blues, country, rock and roll, classical, and more. I love to dance. At least, I always put my left foot forward.
