Hi! I'm a hard working professional with two great college-age kids and an awesome husky! I love to travel and experience new places, people and cuisine.I listed my personality as yuppy, but really one word can not describe a person. I am fun, adventurous, outgoing and easy going. I am a leader, not a follower, but will easily go with the flow. I don't like drama or conflict, though I also will confront issues head on as burying them never leads to good results. I do work hard and have a professional job that is not 9-5, but I also play hard. Life is too short. You never know what life will throw at you, but if you have the right attitude you will emerge on the other side, quite possibly better off in the end!I am a planner and organizer, however, I also let the wind take me where it may. I like to start out a day in a new country with no real plans or agendas and just live in the moment. Stop and listen to a band playing on the street, take time to talk and listen to a local vendor, grab a cappuccino or glass of wine at a local pub... I think you learn so much more about yourself and the world by just looking and observing than by trying to get to each of the "Top 10 Places to See" and just *** picture.I do love photography. I am not a professional by any stretch of the imagination, but do like to capture my experiences with interesting photos. My camera is never very far away. I have gotten some amazing shots and have photos of my travels in my office at work! It helps keep me thinking about that next place to explore!I have been working for the same company for 26 years. I love my job! I am currently a project manager and responsible for launching new consumer products globally. I'd prefer not to go into details here, but let's just say you probably all have some product from my company in your house right now! I do commute about 3 hours a day back and forth to work. My hours are fairly flexible and I have a lot of vacation time.I absolutely love to travel, whether it is for work or pleasure. I am fortunate to have great co-workers in all of these locations that helped me experience the culture. I look forward to returning! I go to Aruba at least once a year for pleasure. I love the easy going island life, warm sun and beautiful Caribbean water! The sunsets are to die for!! I have been there 7 times so far and have gone both by myself and with my kids. I always find awesome people to hang out with and have made new friends from that experience. Safety and security is utmost on my mind, so future trips will probably be to Cabo. I was fortunate enough to share a dream trip to Australia and New Zealand with my daughter. It is an experience neither of us will ever forget and one we hope to repeat soon. Holding a koala bear, snorkeling the Great Barrier Reef, luging down a mountain....you just have to experience it to appreciate it!I am a Top 40 fan. I love spunky, happy music that makes you want to dance! I saw "Fun" and "Pitbull" at Summerfest this year. I love an outdoor music venue. There is something so magical about swaying to the beats of a great band while the cool summer breezes blow!I do try to stay in shape, but I am not an athlete per se. I take yoga and pilates at work over the lunch hour. I love the stress release and calm it brings! I love zumba, though haven't had time to fit regular classes in my busy schedule. I would love to be more fit and welcome the challenge of a companion that likes to be active. Since I rescued my dog two years ago, my evening exercise usually consists of a brisk walk with her. She is a bundle of energy after being home all day by herself!!What am I looking for? A best friend, a confidant, a soul mate, a travel companion. Someone who makes me smile just by thinking about them. While I am happy with my life, I think experiences are best when shared and would love to find someone to share life with. I believe in taking relationships slow and letting them develop to see where they might go.

Now that my son is nearly grown, I have more time for me! Just "me" is getting kinda dull, so I'd love to make the me, a "WE!" =)So as not to scare away those that like correct grammar, I know that the "we" should have really been an "us"...but not as catchy...sorry ;)!I am a pretty unique gal that does not fit the mold of most women. Honestly, they really scare the heck out of me...being an orthopaedic nurse...so if this is an important part of your lifestyle, I don't think I can share that with you.I am an independent, down to earth, positive, and basically happy person. I am in a wonderful place in life....it is truly good...and look forward to sharing my happiness and time with that special guy.I live a healthy lifestyle and and am very fit and active. I love anything outdoors! Swimming, hiking ,biking, kayaking, beaches, lakes, mountains...can you introduce me to more?I am an avid runner and love the challenge of races, the longer the better! I adore my running friends, but would love to have a new training partner ;)! There is something very special and intimate about working out alongside a partner.....I want that. I also enjoy Yoga and practice nearly every day. This world of flexibility, strength, grace, and spirituality is my new frontier. I would also love to share this love with a Yogi guy!I like to cook and am getting better and more creative now that my son is past the chicken nugget stage. There is nothing more satisfying than feeding someone and getting their genuine compliments! All healthy stuff...if you like a steady diet of grease, you will become bored with me and my choices.I love music and always try to keep a good song in my head. When the going gets tough, just start singing it! I especially like classic rock, jam bands, reggae, and the blues. Love live shows in smaller venues or at huge outdoor festivals. Bob Marley once said: "a good thing about music, when it hits you, you feel no pain"...ahhhh so true, at least for me :)On the spiritual side, I am a thoughtful, kind person that always seems to take the side of the underdog. I've been told I have a big heart. Born and raised a Catholic. It is my foundation, and has helped to shape who I am today...although I haven't been to church much lately, I am more spiritual than ever. I find that I no longer need rules and structure to help me be my best possible caring and compassionate and peaceful me....I try to live by the Golden Rule. When you think about it, isn't it the basis behind every world religion?I hope to find a like minded, passionate man who also does not fit the mold. Please, please be happy, optimistic, fit, active and soulful. Did I mention fit?? Respect for your mind, body and soul should be a priority. Are you kind? Crunchy, chewy and yummie are an added bonus also! Did I mention fit? Oh yes, I did...sorry to be redundant but this is a must.
