About Me

Hi Yall!) I am a mom whose only son has grown up (way too fast), married and moved on to the Army. Oh yeah, and made me a grandma! I am an ER nurse that has traded 12 hour shifts on my feet for a great office job (still nursing). I love my job and now get evenings, weekends and holidays to have fun and live life outside of sick patients. There are days when I dress like a "lady" in nice office clothes, then the next I like wearing my cowboy boots and jeans, and some days I just can't keep from throwing on the Harley gear. I have recently sold my own Harley but I still love to ride and hope I get the opportunity again in the future. Don't think I would label myself a biker chic, but I can play the part when I want. My idea of fun simply involves people. I can do the bar (although I don't much), the backyard barbeque with the family (yours, mine or both) or a group of friends, the trip to the lake, or the fancy party. Just give me enough time to figure what is appropriate to wear (or cook if applicable)! A few things I enjoy doing are cooking, watching sports, quilting, riding motorcyles and horses, traveling and playing poker. I am born and bred Sooner, but sure am proud of those Pokes this year! Oh, and of course, Thunder up! My Ipod has a variety of music but I guess I would say that Country and Contemporary Christian are my favs. I am hoping to meet a man who can appreciate the "tomboy" in me and still treat me like a princess. I don't neccessarily mean financially... I make my own money. I look forward to meeting a man that makes it a point to interrupt my day with a "I am thinkin bout ya" via text, phone call, or any other way he creatively comes up with. I look forward to a man who knows we can have fun doing a variety of things that don't always involve spending half a paycheck in one night.I am starting a new chapter in my life. Do you want to join the ride or help write this chapter? My ideal first date would be dinner (where we could sit across from each other and learn more about each other) or the zoo (where we wouldn't have to have perfect table manners and could see the fun side of each other) or a non-dancing bar (quiet enough to hold a conversation but fun and casual enough to laugh out loud).

    Some of the things I enjoy most in life are scuba diving and travel. I am comfortable setting up camp, complete with a roaring fire one weekend, tailgating for a show or a Giants game on another. We could watch Bugs Bunny cartoons out from under a blanket tent and then great movies hanging out on the couch for an entire rainy day. Live concerts give me energy and I go as often as I can. I am competitive in a healthy way and I'm not afraid to try new things and tempt my fears. I can be very happy serving a wonderful dinner with a great bottle of red, dressed to the nines, as I love to spoil the people I care about. It is very important that you be a reasonable man that can have an adult conversation one minute and act like a child with me the very next and laugh, laugh, laugh. Please don't expect to be treated better than you are willing to treat others.I'd much rather meet someone in person for the first time and just click or feel a vibe that tells you that you want to get to know the other person better. The internet can be so impersonal and scary and I'm not sure if I'm ready for this but I've managed to forge some wonderful friendships on the web so why not try meetville. First date? Wouldn't it be better to get to know each other a little before predicting where we should have a first date?
