Hi! I'm a single Mom of an amazing,rough and tumble 10 year old son. I work full time and run a household so it leaves very little time to meet new people. So, here I am on POF- shew who knew!!!!! Well I surely never thought I would be on a dating site at 40 but life has a way of throwing us off course sometimes and you have to adjust your plans. I'm still trying to get used to the idea of being single after so many years but most of all I'm trying to get used to being alone. Ok..a first date is tricky. First off I always wear sneakers (you'll see why in a minute) on a first date. Lunch is my suggestion and you always want to do Mexican if possible. Why you ask, well here it is. Mexican restaurants will get you in and out in under an hour and lets face it if the lunch is going really badly I want out quick (and here is where the sneakers come into play!! lol). But on the other hand if the date is going really well a mexican restaurant will let you sit there for hours as long as you're eating chips and salsa!!! SEE makes sense right!!
