Although I'm independent in just about every way, I undeniably adore the feeling I get when I'm with a man who wants to take care of me. Since the dating game has changed a bit, first "date" is different than first "meeting" in my opinion. I'd prefer my first meeting to be something easy and casual. Happy hour, meeting for an early evening drink or coffee. Maybe join me and a group of friends for a night out. If there's chemistry, we'll know it and can schedule a first "date". I'm a traditional gal and place a lot of importance on traditional values...but I also appreciate a man who can assertively and creativity come up with a first date plan...so take that how you will! I prefer casual and fun vs. rigid "interview" style dates. Surprise me :)

I don't spend hours getting ready and most Fridays, I'd prefer to hit the gym after work and then curl up on the couch to watch a movie and get a pizza. I don't despise texting, but I really prefer a real time conversation on the phone in order to get to know someone.
